Summer Memories from 2013
In 2013, I took a trip from my place at Fort Myers Beach, Florida to spend the summer in Brattleboro, Vermont. I would stay a couple of months with my sister Pat and her husband Conrad. They were about to open a B&B called The One Cat. Pat had spent many many years in England, and she and Conrad, got a good deal on the house, after deciding to return to the USA; it was a good chance to catch up with each other. The idea was for me to get away from the high temperatures in a hot Florida, and spend some time in a more mountainous atmosphere where the summers were cooler. (WRONG) The summer of 2013 in Brattleboro, Vermont had a couple of weeks, when the temps, even at night, did not fall below 90 degrees.

The Most Magical Place On Earth
Who would you say is the most recognizable cartoon character on earth? He brings joy & excitement and is enchanting to all who behold in his charm; I'll give you one guess... M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! I am a remote cast member for Walt Disney World, I magically provide Guest Services from my very own home located in Ohio. Working over a WIFI connection and my desktop computer equipped with Walt Disney World Travel Company computer systems and database and superb remote training by Disney University I make the magic happen every day for Walt Disney World guests, both young and old. With a sincere passion to make dreams come true for all of Mickey's most special visitors. One way I make an impact on the world with this delightfully rewarding career is by planning everything from Walt Disney World Resort Hotels stay to Theme Park tickets and reservations as well as phenomenal live shows and exquisite dining experiences, making sure to plan a truly magical experience and to capture every enchanting location & detail offered for guests to enjoy. I love interacting with guests while being able to assist in the planning of possibly the most sought-after and loved vacation experience on earth. I begin by building a rapport with each guest asking questions to see what type of guest they are whether they are an Intender, someone calling for experience pricing or information, or a World Phile the Walt Disney World guest that visits multiple times a year and probably knows more than I do about the Theme Parks & Resort Hotels, for the Intender type of guest I include information regarding Walt’s new complimentary Park Pass reservation system, An innovative new App, My Disney Experience; that allows guest to book theme park reservations, dining reservations, and link resort hotel stay and theme park ticket information to all in their travel party of family and friends, this is the new way of visiting Walt Disney World and is mandatory to complete during the reservation process. I then go on to Introduce an up and coming cost interactive component to the My Disney Experience App, “you’ve never had a friend like me” Disney Genie, which will be launching this coming Fall. Disney Genie will ad all guests with the intricate planning of their visit at Walt Disney World, while here in the resort hotels and the theme parks. Engaging the guest with building questions to find out if they would be most comfortable at one of our five renowned levels of Resort Hotels, be that our Deluxe Villa Resorts, Deluxe Resorts, Moderate Resorts, or our charming Value Resorts. The Resorts are categorized by pricing levels and themes from each Walt Disney classic movie. By immersing the guest in the planning magic, I am gearing up excitement for what will be a truly magical experience, in my own opinion, I believe this is important because memories will be made while visiting Walt Disney World that will be cherished forever. Guest can pick add-ons to their vacation package such as Memory Maker and have their entire visit photographed and made a keep’s sake. I love what I do! my role as a remote cast member in of itself is just as magical and memorable as the cast members' roles on-site at the theme parks and resort hotels. This Fall Walt Disney World will celebrate 50 years of making the child in all of us dreams come true, as always this will be a dynamic and stellar celebration with all the bells and whistles! As well as Mickey’s Boo Bash & Merriest Christmas Party both of which are new celebrations and have special after-hours for Walt Disney World visitors and guests. I personally invite all of you to come and partake in the everlasting magic of Walt Disney World.

Welcome to Ponce
The Cuidad de Leones (City of Lions) and La Perla del Sur (Pearl of the South) are some of the names used to describe the city of Ponce located on the small island of Puerto Rico. Ponce sits between a Central Mountain Range and the Caribbean Sea and received its name from the island’s first governor, Juan Ponce de León. It’s also the second-largest city on the island after San Juan.
