Trump and Netanyahu: What The Hell is Going On?

Trump and Netanyahu Partners in Crime or What?

Bibi and The Donald sitting on the grave of peace.

Benjamin Netanyahu flew into Washington for talks with Trump for the third time this year. At a dinner held for Bibi at the White House, Netanyahu handed Trump a letter. It was a copy of a letter to the Nobel Peace Prize Organisation to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, written by Netanyahu. Trump didn't exactly jump out of his chair with glee. Similar to when Sir Keir Starmer handed him a letter from King Charles to visit the UK. On both occasions, Trump seemed surprised but overly emtional.

Trump might as well have nominated himself for the Nobel Prize. Such a man, drunk on his own image, would love to receive the prize. Trump wants to be seen as a peacemaker, whether it be in Ukraine or Gaza. He used to say Gaza and Ukraine would never have happened on his watch. However, so far, Trump has failed to bring peace to either war.

Instead, both wars rage on with two alpha males (or they think they are), namely, Putin and Netanyahu. Trump's relationship during 1.0 was good, even chummy with Vlad. Now his relationship with Vlad the Invader is in the garbage in 2.0. Trump is angry because Putin won't play ball.

Trump and Netanyahu likewise seem like close friends; however, I think the Israeli Prime Minister has gone off the boil. As regards Netanyahu being a buddy of Trump. Trump, during his visit to the Middle East, bypassed Israel. Because he felt Bibi was manipulating him.

During the recent war between Israel and Iran, Trump lost patience with Netanyahu. As the war ended, Trump told Netanyahu on Air Force One, "to turn his planes around and head home" as they flew to bomb Iran. So, the war came to an end. So, Netanyahu does listen to Trump if push comes to shove.

There is a plan afoot yet again to call for a 60-day ceasefire. After the Trump-Netanyahu dinner at the White House, a source close to the White House told the media that Trump will be getting heavy with Bibi. In other words, Trump will be putting pressure on the Israeli leader to accept the peace plan. Which shows, once again, if Trump wanted to, he could pull the plug on Israel. The US and other Western nations prop up Israel, so if that plug were pulled, what would the Jewish state do then? They won't even sanction Israel, let alone, pull the plug on the regime!

What about Hamas? Have they accepted this ceasefire? Hamas will be wary because there was a 60-day ceasefire before, and Israel broke it. I have seen two headlines about Israel today. One that the ceasefire from Israel's point of view is not doable. Then the second one I saw was that Israel would continue bombing Hamas if it did not accept the ceasefire, so what's going on?

Trump himself has expressed that he wants peace in Gaza. However, Trump has spoken oddly about Gaza. First off, Trump said he wanted to own Gaza and turn it into the Riviera of the Middle East. Then he wanted the Gazans to leave and find refuge in Egypt or Jordan, where "they would live a beautiful life". Egypt and Jordan refused to go along with it.

Knowing that once the Gazans leave Gaza, they would never return. Plus, these nations do not want the troubles of Israel and Palestine inside their borders.

In the latest twist from Israel Defence Minister, Israel Katz has said the Israelis are building a tent city. To house tens of thousands of Palestinians. Where they will receive housing, protection, and sustenance. This comes with a caveat; once the Gazans arrive, they will not be allowed to leave.

Katz says this to separate the Gazan civilains from Hamas. I can see where Katz is coming from, however, hurding thousands of people into a camp, a concentration camp, let's be honest on the ruins of Rafa, is a war crime. If this camp is anything like the so-called feeding stations where Gazans are getting butchered by the IDF I fear for the future of these poor people.

The forced movement of people and cramming them into a tent city is a crime under international law. But when did Israel or come to the that, the US ever care about or implement international law?
