Time to believe the liars

Covid 19, the threat is real

By ASHLEY SMITHPublished 6 years ago 3 min read

We live in strange times for many reasons, not least because the people we like to hate and ignore are trying to keep us alive. Its a bit of the cry wolf situation, they might have lied and twisted the truth before but this is all for real. This virus will kill many people unless they obey what each individual country instructs us to do. In America maybe don't listen to the president, maybe stick with the advisors he likes to ignore.

If you cough or sneeze droplets of potential germs will go forward approximately six feet, so be 9 feet away and you will be safer. In case you touch any solid surface outside your house wash your hands often and if you can find it hand sanitizer. Surgical gloves basically replace the skin on your hands, so use once and dispose. Other wise if you touch something with virus on you will simply move it to the next surface. If you shop with the gloves and touch your face it could be you infected, if you touch other items then you could be infecting some one else.

Only surgical masks designed for hospitals will help with preventing you breathing in the virus. Bandanas, scarves, dust masks or anything else you will see used don't work. The social distancing and not going out unless urgent are the two main ways to stay alive. Children are dying from this disease, stay in or the next child could be related to you. All of this has been said by any responsible government in every country. Some are a bit behind, some are more serious.

There are countries where you can be fined or arrested simply for being out with out good reason. here in the Uk there will be many out on this warm day for no good reason and i hope they are punished severely. You don't need to suffer from the virus in order to pass it on to someone else. The mortality rate is thankfully relatively low compared to the amount that are tested positive. The problem will be with the idiots going out and spreading the disease and escalting both figures.

Don't believe the crap on social media, the scare stories or the some one I know sent me this type posts. Its not caused by 5g masts, lemon drinks don't kill it, malaria drugs don't kill it yet, drinking every 15 minutes wont kill it and neither will sunlight. Believe only first hand account from government or your countries health authority. Don't believe things shared, they invariably will look realistic but aren't. there's been many starting along the lines of my mum/friend/cousin works in a certain hospital and they have had this email. The first point is ok, the rest is dangerous rubbish. So some people read the beginning and might think more is true.

The reason the figures for deaths and infection fluctuate is because individual hospitals and authorities send their data in and its added a central place which then shares it. People can be ill for two weeks before needing hospital , then they could recover or die quickly or slowly. Autopsies could take time and as more people die they will take longer. So the figures will reflect this and will reflect last week sometimes, or even further back.

Therefore don't think your actions this week will save people next week, this week will affect for the next month at least. One person can infect three, each of the three can infect three more and on it goes. So going out in a group or not using social distancing can kill people in weeks or months time.

So there wont always be hundreds dying on one day and not the next, its hundreds identified and confirmed with the virus. Do as your told or this will go on for months not weeks.
