Someone, Get Trump Out of the White House
Enough is absolutely enough. I no longer really care about whether Trump colluded with the Russians to win the White House, or what missteps either Ivanka Trump or Kellyanne Conway have made that further demonstrate what a gong show the Trump administration is. We all know that both Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner, Trump's oldest son and son-in-law respectively, see no issue with their behaviors and are unconcerned with details such as national security. We can dance around those issues for days without focusing on the real issue itself.

Will Trump Be Impeached
So this is happening! Normally I do not like to really get involved in political things. However this just sort of seems irritating to me as well as unlogical. I mean it is logical to want to impeach a president that does not do a whole lot besides sit around to bark orders.

Dear Donald, You Are the New Face of Floyd
Dear Donald, I would like to know how well you know your history, specifically of pop culture. I ask because the world of pop culture—especially music—has always reflected on politicians’ effects on society. And, honestly, I think you probably already set the bar for yourself back in your "glory days" of entrepreneurship, when you first began to turn into a pig.

Why I Refuse to Engage with Trump Supporters
My father and I have had (too) many conversations concerning the recent rise of President Trump and a far right ideology in american politics, most of them ending with my father and I declaring that we just can't stand Donald Trump. My father has said over a dozen times to me "I disagreed with George W. Bush, I didn't hate him. I disagreed with John McCain, I didn't hate him. I disagreed with Mitt Romney, but I didn't hate him. I absolutely hate this President." Bush, McCain, and Romney represented the fiscal conservatism and the conservative family values that dominated the Republican Party as they were often times what most Conservatives cared about.

Who Is Next In The Mueller Probe?
Recently, we witnessed potential history as the investigation into the Trump-Russia ties took another step forward as special counsel Robert Mueller announced the first indictments against former foreign policy George Papadopoulos, former campaign manager Paul Manafort, and Manafort associate Rick Gates. They were indicted on charges of, amongst other things, money laundering and conspiracy against the United States. This major announcement has many people wondering where Mueller's investigation will lead next. I have a few ideas about that. Just a few. I'm not saying that what I'm about to say is all I have to say about this issue. I'm saying that because not only does this matter to Americans, but it also matters to the rest of the world, because the American president has always been considered the "leader of the free world." However, Trump is slowly degrading that every single day, making other countries understandably view the United States of America - again, the "leader of the free world" - very unfavorably.

Dear Donald, You're Wrecking My Relationships
Dear Donald, I would like to congratulate you on accomplishing a feat I never thought humanly possible. Though you never actually met me, and though you never actually interacted with any of the people around me, you've managed to wreak a huge amount of my relationships with others.

Dear Donald, We Will Stop You
"I wonder what would happen if Trump actually did become President. Is that fucked up to think about?" Yes, past Katie, it was fucked up to think about. You were so damn sure of Hillary's presidency that you didn't even think about the consequences of your thought. Obviously, your thought caused Trump to win the presidency. You failed the nation.

Nice, but Not Nice
In this day and age, it's easy to get published. Maybe you have to go through Amazon and self-publish, but you can do it and keep control of your intellectual property. But sometimes, you can be stubborn like me, and insist on trying to get traditionally published. I tried to do this with a collection of political essays I wrote before, during, and after the 2016 election. It was a long shot, and I knew it. There were essays in there that I would have been uncomfortable showing my bartender. But I forged ahead with the thought of, why not? Well, an editor at the publishing house I submitted to told me why not. I was too nice!
