Only You Can Prevent the Trump Man
I wish I could go back to a few weeks before the James Comey memo about the other pointless emails that came out weeks before the 2016 election. I'd like to think that I could just sit back today and still revolve around my liberal bubble of feeling safe and secure. Safe knowing that despite a republican congress, we still had the first Black president to have the final say over policies and legislation. It was a good run while we had him. However, now we are getting a taste of what it's like to not have that safe feeling anymore. I hate saying it but I am in a sensical way glad Trump won. Am I happy and proud of my president? HELL NO. But now that he's president and the way he's performing in office has set an example the country has been watching. He is a couch potato, who spends most of his time watching TV, playing golf and uses the US taxpayers as his personal ATM machine.

The first campaign I worked on was Ronald Reagan's presidential run in 1980. Every generation sees the rebirth of a political party. Republicans ushered in the age of Ronald Reagan and a new confidence and pride in being conservative. Democrats enjoyed a resurgence of popularity with the election of Bill Clinton, who brought some of his party's ideals to the more moderate center of the political spectrum, all the while championing a new liberalism. Twenty years later, Barack Obama tweaked the democratic party further, but his attempt to redefine his party backfired, costing him control of Congress.

Reasons Why Martial Artists Shouldn't Support Trump
I have been a practitioner of the martial arts for twenty+ years. My very first exposure to what would later become a lifelong passion was the pilot episode of the short-live program called The Master starring Lee Van Cleef and the famous Sho Kosugi. For those of you unfamiliar with the show, the central plot was that of a war veteran named John Peter McAllister who stayed in Japan at the end of the war and became the first westerner initiated into the ways of the ninja. He later learns that he has a daughter in the United States and leaves the ninja clan to find her. As you can imagine, this didn’t go over to well with the clan so they send Okasa (Sho Kosugi) after him. Along the way, McAllister meets up with Max Keller, a young man with a strong sense of justice and a good heart but leaps before he thinks. McAllister takes on the young Max as an apprentice and together they search for the Master’s daughter while solving a new problem each week. Think Knight Rider, only with ninja instead of a talking car.

Click for AUDIO version. The 2018 Congressional midterm elections will be bloody. As usual the GOP is naive regarding political campaigning and underestimates the ferocity of the Democrats. Let's first understand what is at stake here. The Democrats suffered a severe blow by losing the 2016 elections. Because of this, 2018 represents a make or break year for the progressive/liberal agenda. If they fail to retake Congress, in either chamber, the Democratic Party will be unable to stop President Trump in 2020 and will likely go into a tailspin searching for new leadership. As such, they are desperate for a victory and will go to any length to achieve one, whether it is legal or not. In desperation, the left and their news media lapdogs will undoubtedly be pulling out all the stops. This includes misleading the public, character assassination, lying and deceit, violating voter laws, intimidation, etc. No, they will certainly not be playing fair; they are at war.

Who Has Really Got the Mental Disorder, Trump or the Dems?
From an industrial psychology perspective, President Trump exhibits a super Type-A personality, which is common for successful people and something I have discussed previously. This type of person possesses a no-nonsense entrepreneurial and competitive personality, something commonly found in the captains of industry. These people represent the polar opposites of Type-D personalities who are not risk takers, bureaucratic and are defenders of the status quo. It is not unusual for Type-A personalities to possesses a rather avant-garde sense of humor which others may misunderstand or even find offensive. Some would even go so far as to denounce such a person as vulgar and crude, certainly not politically correct, which is how the media and the left portrays Mr. Trump. I find this particularly amusing coming from people who publicly demonstrate in bizarre costumes, such as female genitalia, and shout expletives at anyone disagreeing with them.

Gummy Bears and Donald Trump
I had to allow myself to have gummy bears for breakfast in order to forgive myself for the angry thoughts that I have held for so long about Mr. Trump. After all, he’s only human. I’m guessing he was raised up by folks who only valued one thing. How to make money. Maybe he grew up in poverty like my parents did and vowed to never ever have to live like that once he got older.
