Trump, Saudis, and Nukes, Oh My!
Is the nuclear power deal with Saudi Arabia finally too much for Republicans? Republicans love Donald Trump. They had no choice after he declared his candidacy. He won the Republican nomination with his campaign announcement, because once he stated out loud the racist bargain Republicans had been running on implicitly since Nixon, the Party leadership could not afford to disown him, without alienating their base.

Why Trump Bombed in Hanoi
When major summit meetings end as fast as the one just wrapped in Hanoi, it’s for one of two reasons: Either the summiteers realized they had no differences of opinion to slow things down, or they found out early that their differences of opinion would short-circuit anything else from happening.

#NationalEmergency: Are We Surprised Trump's Gone This Far?
When I saw on Twitter that #NationalEmergency was trending, I had a sneaking hunch I knew why. Really, it's sad that the ongoing saga of funding for a wall along the United States' southern border has even come to this, but what surprises me is that no one seems to have seen this coming from the moment now-President Trump started talking about it on the campaign trail. To be fair, back then there were quite a lot of us who honestly didn't think he'd even be elected to the highest seat of power in the United States, but that's another story.

We've Been Trumped
The political aspect of the US took a turn after the 2016 presidential election when Donald Trump was announced the winner, and we are still talking about it. Whether that turn has, is, and will be good or bad continues to be debated. Instead of the views being split between the usual Republican and Democratic parties, it seems to have shifted into Trump supporters and anti-Trump supporters. The majority of Trump's supporters are Republican, but not necessarily all of them, as not all liberals have chosen to be anti-supporters. So what is it about President Trump that Americans do or don't approve of?

Fear of the Border Wall
So today marks day 23 of the ongoing government shutdown. Yesterday was the first time furloughed government employees didn't receive a paycheck. Even if the government opened back up tomorrow morning, they still wouldn't see that money in their accounts for another two weeks.

US Government Shutdown: Cracks in the Wall
The partial government shutdown has now been in-place for over two weeks and there appears to be little chance of it coming to an end anytime soon. The reasoning behind the shutdown was the Senate’s failure to break an impasse over President Trumps request for further funds for his wall.
