Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.
Trump's ex-Ambassador to Iceland is revealed as an incompetent, erratic, paranoid, lying sadist
Being the Ambassador to Iceland would seem like a cushy gig. The people are friendly, they speak English, the crime rate is low, the music scene is active, and there is nothing like a relaxing dip in heated mineral-rich water to ease a troubled soul. Granted there will not be much lying on the beach, but there is still plenty to do. But Trump’s pick for the position, Jeffrey Ross Gunter, could not handle it.

The Best Congress That Money Can Buy
In an age of unprecedented strife millions have continually suffered from decades of neglect by Congress. Their blatant disregard for the publics welfare has kept the American public caught in a vortex of suspended anticipation only to find like on Christmas morning coal in their stocking. The voice of the people has never really been in consideration. For years Congress and Presidents have had many opportunities to right this ship of state. So far their attempts have only made this ship of state on the verge of capsizing.

Democrats and Republicans Aren't Addressing Issues
Pick up the paper, go online to news and social media websites, or turn on the television any hour of the day and you will see a plethora of stories and ads on political ideology related to racism, women’s rights in the work force, abortion, religious persecution and attacks, hate crimes, and gun violence, gun rights, and voting rights. But on the part of both Democrats and Republicans, there is no substance to the arguments, they only pay lip service to these and other more serious issues plaguing America. The question is, at what point does the government start taking real action on major problems the majority of Americans face every day regardless of race, age, color, culture, or sexual identity.

Cori Bush Leads Protest Against End to Eviction Moratorium & Global News
Although the federal eviction moratorium that was enacted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Saturday to prevent people from losing their homes or losing their jobs due to the pandemic expired, congressional Democrats are pressing the Biden administration to renew it. Rep. Cori is leading the charge to prevent residents being forced onto the streets. Reps. Ilhan Omar joined her and Ayanna Pressley. In protest of the ending of the eviction freeze, they slept outside the U.S. Capitol.

Hey Joe, This Is Life in an Entitlement Society
Senator Joe Manchin, in the negotiations on passing President Biden’s infrastructure bill (backed by progressives and, well, everybody else in the Democratic party) spoke about not wanting the United States to turn into an entitlement society. The expression sounded as typically and cynically out-of-touch as one would expect from a rich man who made a fortune off coal while trying to stop any meaningful climate change legislation from passing.

With Ron DeSantis, The Dead Are Mere Collateral Damage; The Supreme Objective Is Power
The news emerging from the state of Florida is quite depressing. For an area which makes up 6% of American population, nearly 20% of all new cases in the union comes from the Southern state.

Cursed Are The Meek Of The Earth, For They Are Well And Truly F**ked
The world around us is fast unravelling. Reading the newspapers or watching the news is an entirely depressing undertaking. Our planet is imploding and exploding literally, right before our very eyes.
