How To Close The Continued Circus

Politics is like a circus, a circus that has gone on for far too long. We all need to stop buying tickets to the show.

Circus 45

Yay! The circus came to town. Everybody was so excited. The country was all abuzz at the prospect of better days to come... Wait just a minute, haven't we seen this circus before? Time and time again we are treated to the same show. We laugh, we cry, we cringe, and inside each and every American, a little piece of us dies. Yay, the circus is in town.

Last weekend in Des Moines Iowa, the infamous one himself held a rally. I remember it, not because I cared, but because I got ten emails offering me free tickets to the big show. If you believe those promotional emails I was going to be allowed to be front and center for the three-ring circus that continues to be the most "beloved" American President in recent history. If you don't believe that, just ask him.

For anyone that pays any attention to Quora, there are a million questions about good ole 45 and the circus of a presidency that was from 2017 to 2021, our greatest form of entertainment. People are still seething that he was president, even though he's been out of office for 9 months. Reading many of the comments, it is without a doubt in any reasonable persons' mind, that the only thing more dysfunctional than 45 and his ramblings is the inane belief that everything we heard about his administration was the truth.

Russia this, and Russia that. Sure, he played up to the crowds that he had a good relationship with Russia and respected the Chinese President. Why wouldn't he? After fifteen years of wartime United States, Donald was trying to get us out of wars and conflicts around the globe. It, perhaps, is the one thing that most people agree with when it came to his policies. After all, who doesn't want a peaceful world for our children to grow up in?

So, the circus continues on, even after the ringmaster has been retired! And, people are upset about this fact of life. Yet, it's the very same people that are the most indignant about him having been the president, and his shenanigans while president, that continues to buy the "ticket" to the big top.

Ah...45! What do we have to do to get you to zip it! According to multiple news reports Donald reportedly brought up the Steele dossier that had allegations he hired Russian hookers to "pee" on him in a Moscow hotel during a private GOP fundraiser on Thursday. Speaking at a high dollar retreat in Palm Beach, Florida on behalf of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, a group working to elect more GOP senators to Congress, Trump had to remind everyone that he's not a fan of Golden Showers. If you're unfamiliar, I'll let you google search the term.

While I applaud the President's "Morale" outrage at the suggestion, I do wonder if that spray-on tan is really just that, spray-on tan?

I'm not into golden showers.

Donald Trump, October 14th, 2021

I for one was a Trump supporter in the preelection era of 2016. I thought a businessman might do the country some good because under the administration at that point in time, I was tired of politics, and disagreed with many of the political moves that were made. The only thing that circus ever did was get me to pay more attention and understand that party lines are not good for the country. Voting our conscience is the only thing that makes sense.

Now, here were are after nine months of a new administration and the old circus is still playing strongly. Not only do we have the constant barrage of news on the internet about 45, but a new circus--Circus 46.

Circus 46

While circus 46 is still in its' infancy, it's without a doubt off to a raucous start so far and appears to have all the trappings of the circus from hell.

So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.

Natalie Portman-Padme Amidala

It's funny how one of the most hated parts of the entire Star Wars universe predicted our futures. Yet, on inauguration day, there was thunderous applause. Sure, things had to change, but because of a pandemic, some "possibly false" information about 45, and 45's own ignorance and unwillingness to change, the pendulum swung all the way to the opposite end. We wound up going from what many called the extreme right, to the extreme left.

And, why is this bad for America, and the world? We all know that the world's economy for some reason revolves around the dollar. When America's economy collapses, and with inflation, a massive supply chain issue, a serious labor crisis, and an untold amount of national debt that is going to burst our futures, it's in all likelihood going to happen. This is the kind of problem that we needed a good businessman for--a sentiment that I've already heard from many conservatives.

Bidens Temperament

The temperament of the ring leader of this three-ring circus comes into question every time I hear the phrase "losing patience." Our ringleader is doing little to sell the need to get vaccinated and more to aggravate, irritate, and vex his fellow Americans. The ringleader of a show is supposed to promote the show, not demand you stand up and applaud. For nearly 250 years in America, we've prided ourselves on freedoms, freedoms that we're taught are our birthright as Americans. Hearing our ringleader go out of his way to try circumventing those freedoms, a bit disheartening. Seeing him like the angry, petulant, child, as he stutters his words, barely gets out an articulate speech without confusing people, and them makes blunder after blunder, makes me want to have a sit down with him and spell out his mistakes.

Biden isn't a leader. Leaders aren't born, they're made. He's just not leadership material. After being in many leadership roles throughout my life, I'll say this, leading isn't always easy, and there are going to be mistakes along the way. However, if you are a true leader, you'll know it, because people will follow.

Closing The Circus

How do we close down the circus? Well, in the case of the newest one, it's a matter of time. This circus has a shelf life of about 3 years and change. It will come to an end, in January of 2025, at the outside. There's the chance that it could come to an end sooner--through impeachment or resignations. We'll see how the mid-term management meeting goes.

In the case of circus 45, that's an entirely different story. That ringleader get's paid high dollars to spout off at the mouth about conspiracies, prostitutes, Russia, and dear god, golden showers. Why aren't we laughing him off the screen and into the oblivion of some high-rise penthouse office? We are entertained by the man. It really is that simple. For years he's given us something to laugh about, something to poke fun at, and more than a few things to discuss.

The answer...stop talking about him. We won't, but it is the only answer. Until people stop chiding him for his sins, stop blowing up the internet with his latest controversial statement, and stop stifling his freedom of speech, then people will still be throwing a tantrum about his time in office. The answer is very much, a double-edged sword.

Senile old men should never again be allowed to run for our top office. Once they're there, they become a stain on the soul of America. For it is the people of this country that should be running it, not the billionaires, or millionaires, that can afford to run for office. The presidents that come and go make a handsome living, and yet most of them leave office worth ten times what they were when they started, except Trump, who lost money. Let's close down the circus in 2025, and hopefully elect someone that truly represents the people of this country.

I, for one, am tired of the circus. There's always a mess to clean up because of them.
