The Unpopular Opinion
Our planet is overpopulated... No one ever argues with me on that statement. If I ask why overpopulation is a problem, someone will usually mention the fact that there are limited resources on the planet and it is becoming harder and harder to provide enough of these resources to allow future generations to live comfortable lives. Others may mention displacement and mass extinction of animals across the globe due to deforestation, expansion of cities and human industrialization. Both are very good points.

Life Is Hard: Deal With It!
Let the hate comments begin! If there is something about the older generations I envy, it is the determination they possessed. A long time ago, this nation; if not the entire Western World, was comprised of strong people. Back then people had courage, grit, and determination. Sure, life was hard, but the mentality was to press on. Whenever adversity arose, people stood up to the challenge. Such moments of hardship were seen as an opportunity to shine.

Why Everyone is Wrong About Jordan Peterson
How on earth did Jordan Peterson get to be such a controversial figure? How did he even become famous, for that matter? It seems that he is constantly in my social media news feeds, and the extreme polarization that comes with the guy boggles my mind.

Unbiased News at PBS NewsHour
Now, more than ever before, television news shows have discarded all pretense of reporting the news and unabashedly deliver up biased opinions and sometimes out and out demonstrable lies about people, politics, culture, and other issues to a loyal narrowly focussed audience who eschew any other source of news or opinion, even from immediate family. For those fixated on single source news channels, like Fox News or MSNBC, they should bite the bullet and add PBS NewsHour to their TV line up. An audience convinced that everything except what they watch is fake news needs a good dose of balanced reporting and point counterpoint analysis of the news. They can find that on the PBS NewsHour.
