Income Inequality and the Future
So, a questioner on quora asked the following: “Do you think that Joe Biden during his term in office needs to implement programs targeting income inequality in the United States? If yes, what types of general programs would you recommend?”

A Crisis of Harmony
55% of Americans support limiting the number of Chinese students admitted to the U.S., per a recent Pew survey. It's not the only result from that survey, and I imagine that for most people, it won't be their takeaway. To me, though, this is the piece of information that stopped me cold, that grabbed me by the face and wouldn't let go. A majority of Americans want to keep Chinese teenagers out of the country, and that's simply the state of affairs in 2021.

To Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
Many years ago, before either you or your husband were born, I joined the British Army and served as an officer in the same regiment as Prince William and the Duke of Sussex. Having spent four years on the margins of that social set, I believe every word you have said about their bigotry and rudeness. They are courtiers and exclusive access to royalty is often their only capital, so they have become very practiced at repulsing newcomers. Children don´t grow up making spiteful, racist remarks, such as were directed at you, rather this is the product of a culture which holds all “others” in contempt.

Is Britain Really The Dumbest Nation In The World or Is It Having A Major Existential Crisis?
The United Kingdom of Britain is on its way to being a failed state. Britain has left the European Union, The Scots are clamouring for independence, despite the current internecine warfare being waged between the leading lights of Scottish nationalism and a united Ireland seems a distinct possibility.

Bipartisanship Shouldn't Be The Goal!
Lately it feels as if the political campfire has gotten out of control, the Capitol is on fire, and amid the chaos and emergencies everywhere, the media is looking for anyone singing a few bars of Kumbaya for a sign that we’re okay. Well, it’s not okay. Look over there, Senator Cruz’s pants are on fire.

On Human Misunderstanding
By way of preamble, I'd like to point out that this piece is motivated by the invasion of the Capitol building by right-wing protestors while Congress was in the process of certifying the results of the 2020 Presidential Election.
