Past politicians, legislation and political movements have changed the course of history in ways both big and small. Welcome to our blast to the past.
From Slavery to Genocide: The American Tradition of Hideous Moral Compromise
There are many differences between myself and a typical Republican. One of them: I do not shed a single tear if some monuments to General Robert E. Lee and other Confederate-era figures are being removed. Similarly, Gary Flowers, a black radio show host and civil rights activist, stated: "As a native of Richmond, I want to say that the head of the snake has been removed..."

The Real State Of The Union Was On Full Display At Trump's Speech
Donald Trump’s speech before Congress taught us much about the state of the Union. At this time in history, the once majestic symbol of freedom is fractured. We’re a broken mess, and desperately in need of direction.

Political Rants Should Focus on Issues, not celebrities
Oh oh, here I go again sharing my thoughts and opinions about American culture and politics based on the buzz I'm reading or watching from various media sources. If you haven't read any of my rants before this one, be prepared for some "radical" opinions. Also, for those who don't know me yet, I preface my editorial with the fact that I'm almost 54 years old, born in the USA, and living on Social Security. Long story how all that happened, but those three basic facts about me do influence my opinions.

SpaceX Targeting Feb 28 For Next Launch of Starship Megarocket.
SpaceX Targeting Feb 28 For Next Launch of Starship Megarocket. SpaceX is gearing up for the eighth test flight of its Starship megarocket targeting liftoff on Friday February 28 2025. This mission comes on the heels of the previous test flight which ended prematurely due to an in flight anomaly. The upcoming launch aims to validate the improvements made to the vehicle and advance SpaceX's goal of creating a fully reusable spacecraft capable of deep space missions. The Starship system standing at 403.5 feet 123 meters is designed as a two stage fully reusable spacecraft. The first stage known as Super Heavy is a massive booster equipped with 33 Raptor engines that provide the thrust necessary to escape Earth's gravity. The second stage referred to simply as Starship houses the payload and is intended for operations in space, including landing on other celestial bodies and returning to Earth. In the previous test flight on January 16 2025 Starship successfully launched from SpaceX's Starbase facility in South Texas. The mission proceeded smoothly through the initial phases with a successful liftoff and stage separation. However approximately 8.5 minutes into the flight the upper stage experienced a propellant leak leading to a catastrophic failure over the Atlantic Ocean. Debris from the explosion fell near the Turks and Caicos Islands prompting a temporary diversion of flights in the area. An investigation involving SpaceX the Federal Aviation Administration FAA NASA the National Transportation Safety Board NTSB and the U.S Space Force identified that extreme vibrations had caused stress on the propulsion system resulting in the leak and subsequent fires. In response SpaceX implemented several hardware and system adjustments to mitigate these issues in future flights.

Thoughts on racism and world problems 2025
Thoughts on racism and world problems 2025 A personal appraisal of social problems worldwide I am by birth and ancestry, a white British male. I do not consider any person inferior to myself because of skin colour, racial origins, intellectual ability, gender, physical ability or age. I am happy with a doctor of Asian English background I vote for a lady of Asian English heritage. I shop at places owned by devote Muslims, I only care about the personality and integrity of the person I interrelate to.

British couple in their 70s arrested by Taliban.
British couple in their 70s arrested by Taliban. A British elderly couple, Peter Reynolds (79) and his wife Barbie (75) who dedicated 18 years of their lives to social and educational services in Afghanistan have been detained by the Taliban. The couple was arrested on February 1 while returning to their home in Bamiyan. Since then their children and family have received no clear updates about their condition causing immense concern among their loved ones. Peter and Barbie had been running various educational projects in Afghanistan since 2009 including five schools in Kabul and a training program for mothers and children in Bamiyan. Even after the Taliban's return to power in 2021 when most foreigners and NGO employees left the country the couple chose to stay. Their reason was simple they could not abandon Afghanistan in its time of need.

"TAKE OUT THE NAZIS". Content Warning.
I created this concept in my brain today as I watched the news of tryanny n America. WHERE IS OUR HERO? I edited this short film four times, creating multiple tunes from dividing my prose into 4 parts. I had to express my disdain for people that are just kicking back saying, "What can we do" It's their government." NO, IT IS OUR GOVERNMENT, THE PEOPLE'S GOVERNMENT."
