controversies
It seems every time one racially-charged incident ends, a gender or religious controversy takes its place; Ruminate on the issues dividing our nation and world.
My insane response to current politics
I just got finished watching a video on youtube where a black woman (I suppose she is a Trump fan) was attacking Kamala Harris for her flaky answers to various questions that she is asked. The woman called Harris "fake". I thought it was funny in a way because I can understand how Trump fans would see him as more "authentic" than Harris, but Harris is being more "political" based on the standards set for the definition of "political". The woman says that Harris is "fake" because she can not answer the question about the border problem. She dodges and dances around the question. This is exactly why I stay on the fence about this election. This is just like Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan - with Trump as Tonya and Nancy as Harris. Nancy is what the judges wanted: nice and sweet with the proper clothing. It didn't matter to the judges that Tonya could do a triple axel. She didn't dress or speak the way they wanted her to. Trump and Tonya were just being authentic. But that's not political. There is no rule in any Political Science book that says authenticity is a staple of politics.

Meticulous Mossad: Exploding Devices.. Content Warning.
Hezbollah received the shock of its life when its communication devices exploded. Literally in their faces, pagers and walkie-talkies exploded killing 9 operatives and injuring 3,000 Hezbollah members. The funny thing was Hasan Nasrallah, Head of Hezbollah, warned his operatives not to use mobile phones in case Israel was tracking them. Hence, Hezbollah switched to low-tech and old tech to communicate like pagers and walkie-talkies. How ironic, then that these devices exploded causing such harm and carnage to Hezbollah.

Did You Know The Porn Industry Is The Reason All Women Are Stupid?
It All Started With An Article On Medium: For those of you who don't have access to the paid article, its essentially an article written by a woman who, out of curiosity and frustration over how she was being received online, made a fake male persona on Reddit.

Keir and Giorgia: Hand in Hand?. Content Warning.
Who would have thought two politicians from supposed different political spectrums would have met in agreement over migration? Sir Keir Starmer flew out to Rome to receive a red carpet and military band welcome from Giorgia Meloni.

Keep Elon Musk Out of The White House
Catch this: Donald Trump is considering giving Elon Musk a place in his administration if he wins this election. Yes, Elon Musk, of all people. If that isn't a conflict of interest, I don't know what is. Even more conflicting is that Musk would be in charge of a government efficiency commission. Yep, Elon Musk, whose "efficiency cleanup" of Twitter (now known as X) has resulted in a whopping 74% decline in its value. That's not the kind of person I would want in charge of a government efficiency program if I were president.

Infanticide
My intent on writing this article is to share my research. This topic would have never crossed my mind had it not been for my utter shock and disbelief, when in the Presidential debate between former President Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris, on the topic of abortion, there was a statement made by Conservative Trump in regard to "babies being executed" and "laughed off" followed by vehement denials (both by Harris AND so-called "fact checked" ABC moderator, Linsey Davis.)

What we Value
Election times and political divides and "unrest" cause me (and most) of Americans severe anxiety. That's because we are all different and "feel" like something is being taken away from us or that some great harm will come to us should "the other" people "win."

NHS: Sir Keir's Speech Today.. Content Warning.
When the NHS was created by the Labour government in 1945 it was a service free for all, regardless, of your status in life. Before this people paid into an insurance scheme that paid for health treatments. Private health insurance still exists as does the private health service. However, only those with a pretty penny can access it. Yes, private health can be accessed by those on NHS waiting lists which is meant to shorten waiting lists. I know many people treated privately when on NHS waiting lists. And, they all report they thought it was a good thing and were treated well both by staff and their overall treatment.

Prejudiced Providers: Addressing Discrimination in Healthcare
[Note: A version of this article originally appeared on Medium.com on March 10, 2021.] In high-income countries, such as the US and the UK, Black populations died of COVID-19 at a staggering rate as compared with white populations. In the US, African Americans died of COVID-19 at 1.9 to 2.8 times the rate of white people; in the UK, Black men and women were respectively 4.2 and 4.3 times more likely than their white counterparts to die from a COVID-19-related illness.
