Living with a Deadly Virus

It's been eleven months, and yet, this pandemic hasn't gotten amy better, it's gotten a whole lot worse. Hospitals and doctors are overworked, experiencing anxiety, and some even are experiencing bouts of depression. Meanwhile, dozens of Americans are scrambling trying to make ends meat to pay their bills, put food on the table, and provide for their families.

Scientist's have been working around the clock to come up with a vaccine that will save many around the world lives. But is it really? Most civilians won't have the vaccine available to them for another 6 months, yet the frontliners and those with underlyimg conditions have already begun receiving the doses. Does this mean that we will see more deaths in days to come? The answer is yes. Some States have already stopped giving the vaccine due to more than 5 people having severe side effects from the shot. I personally don't understand how scientist's were able to produce a vaccine for such a deadly virus in under a year, when HIV has been around for over Forty years and still no cure for the infected. That alone makes me not wanna take this vaccine. Now I'm not saying that I will never get the shot. I'm saying I need this vaccine to be tested a little more before I allow any doctor to inject that foreign liquid substance into my body. But then you have the few who couldn't wait to get the vaccine? Have you received the vaccine? If so, were there any side effects? Did you have to get tested before and after the shot?

Because of Covid, many homeless in America are forced to find refuge, under bridges, in alleyways, anywhere they can to stay warm becuae shelters are currently not allowing anyone in. Most cities have been given funds to house the homeless in motels for a certain amount of time, but three days is not good enough. There needs to be something done about this. There are so many abandoned buildings in my city and surrounding cities, isn't there anyone we can talk to that can donate buildings just for the homeless?

The Government has failed this country in more ways than one during this pandemic. Second Stimulus still has not been approved because of a man who can not accept defeat. I mean let's be real. Did you not think he wasn't going to make this Country suffer for not voting him back into office? Because of this, many Americans who were banking on this second round of stimulus checks to start going out this week, many Americans are unsure what these next couple of weeks are going to look like. If the House does not come up with a plan before 12:01 Tuesday, December 29, 2020, once again, America can be looking at another Government shutdown. Why is the government allowing us to financially suffer like this. Why did Trump wait until a deal was approved to throw it back in the House's face and demand more money? We are in need of URGENT assistance, yet the government is arguing back and forth about other issues. It seems that at this point, Americans will only see $600 deposited into their accounts, instead of the $2000 that was proposed. It's not enough to cover one's rent, but for now, it's something to be able to put food on the table, and cover at least one household bill. Will America ever recover from an invisible disease that crippled the entire World? Onlt time will tell..
