America Needs a Facelift
The world is burning, before it was a slow burn but now it’s an inferno. We’ve reached a moment in American society where there doesn’t seem to be an organization or movement that is truly for the downtrodden. We are in a weird position where minorities and those on the fringes of society have more rights than years past, but aren’t quite prospering or equal to everyone else. Some days it feels like there will never be an inclusive functioning society. As the saying goes, “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”. Our laws were written to keep out others and lift up the powerful. We need to get rid of old rules that no longer serve us. We need to enact change, but we have been cornered by the laws that hold our country together.

My 2024 Presidential Bid Continued (More Stuff)
As you are all aware by now, I am running for President in 2024, 2028 and every 4 years after. Unlike other President’s I will not spend my time playing golf. I do not like the game, but I will be gaming in the evening and you are welcome to visit my YouTube gaming channel. Just click on the video embedded to this story and subscribe. Please read my other stories where I am running for President and watch my videos that are embedded. I will outline a few more things I plan as your next President in 2024. Everything is my opinion. Off topic, I find it interesting that Sasha Cohen is making another Borat movie. I doubt he will go through a leftist demonstration with MAGA stuff on and then go through a Trump demonstration with Biden or leftist stuff on it. We all know it will be the leftist that will attack him physically and get in his face, but it would be funny to see. This is what I mean when I mention the biases in the media and from celebrities. Now I cannot stand Trump and if is still President when I take office, I do plan to have the White House refumigated and cleaned thoroughly but a media personality or celebrity should show both sides. Trust me they are both but in different ways (I am referring to the extremist not everyday people.).

Lives Matter
I have been wanting to speak out on the current social movement for quite some time. It is a sensitive topic and the last thing I want is for the true message to be missed because of one poorly executed statement. I recently found a meme on social media that said, “All lives matter. If you have to put a color in front of it, you’re a racist.” I think that is the best one I’ve seen yet. I do not believe that anyone should abuse their job or skin color to take advantage of others, hurt others or traumatize others. The point so often missed is that it goes both ways. Looking at my ancestry, my ancestors were both the conquerors and the conquered. My Spanish ancestors are responsible for multiple counts of cultural genocide. If I had to apologize for every act they committed, I would never be finished. On the other hand, the natives of Mexico suffered at the hands of the Spanish. The Irish were slaves. I could go on forever. We cannot undo what has been done. I think if we all had the opportunity to undo one thing, it would be something personal. I don’t think the first thing that would pop into our head would pertain to history. Perhaps for some, but I believe those are few and far between.

I am not white privilege
First, let me tell you a little about myself and why I believe white privilege is not only real, but how it harms the country as a whole. Now I know that most people will say that white privilege is not about the color of my skin but what the color of my skin gets me. But is that not one in the same? So I would like to tell you why "white privilege" doesn't make sense. In order for me to do this I need to go back to my childhood.

What Congress Must Do In 2021
This week will be a very telling week. President Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination on Saturday, and the Senate has vowed to immediately take up her confirmation. Tuesday night sees the first debate between candidates Trump and Biden. Trump's tax returns appear to have been revealed, and many are in an uproar over the fact that he has paid fewer taxes than a restaurant server or grocery clerk. As colder weather is rolling for autumn, COVID-19 numbers have again begun to rise. The election is just over a month away. This next week could be a turning point in campaigns for the many Senate and House seats up for grabs. The hope is that the Democrats can keep control of the House, and turn control of the Senate.

A Reflection of a year of unrest
The most painful year, to say the least, see the silverling before the people start coming t me as if I am not expressing my pain. I am a black woman, I have black children, and the world that I see around me is not what I want my children to grow up in yet be apart of such hate. I practice love, kindness, and patience with my children. I don't want them to grow up hating anyone, primarily because of their skin color. Where are we safe as black people? Black people are continually broke down to less than our white counterparts. Which is a tactic to make the other person feel superior because our black lives scare them that we would be somehow become "superior" to them? A saying goes, "You fear what you don't understand." To just try to get to know us as people, you will see the perception taught or thoughts is utterly wrong for the majority.

Naive Little Brats
As someone who has more or less always identified as someone firmly on the left side of the political aisle, it has become clear to me since 2016 that an emboldened and distinctly naive group of leftists have allowed themselves to become Trump's metaphorical key to the White House doors. Youtube's leftist firebrands like Jimmy Dore, Kyle Kulinski and Krystal Ball have all wittingly (no, I don't mean unwittingly) paved the way for a President Trump presidency.

The Melungeons a tri-racial people of early Virginia
American school children are taught that Europeans discoverd America and that Africans were brought over on slave ships. In recent years evidence continues to surface that suggests that there were some black people living in the United States prior to slavery. When it comes to race, in early America the mother was the deciding factor regarding which ethnicity her children associated with. According to the principle of partus sequitur ventrem, which was incorporated into Virginia law in 1662, children born in the colonies were assigned the race and social status of their mother. The father's ethnicity or citizenship did not matter.

Through the Eyes of Children, a Look Back at the 2016 Election
Photo by Bill Smith It’s getting very close to election day and some local kids are decidedly not among the undecided. “Hillary Clinton is running against “wrong” Donald Trump,” jibed Melissa. But they don’t see it in all rights like their elders.
