Why Are The Republicans Trying to Blame Antifa(Again)?
We all know what happened on January 6th. I don't feel like I need to lay it all out for you for the billionth time. But I definitely want to, so... On January 6th, the day after Georgia's special election and the day of Congress' certification of Joe Biden's presidential win, hundreds or thousands of Donald Trump's supporters gathered in Washington DC to protest Trump's loss. The Capitol police opened the doors for the protesters, and they quickly rioted and invaded the Capitol Building. Congress evacuated to safety, but the insurrectionists broke into their offices, their gathering spaces, and went wild. At least five died, including two cops, and on that day, maybe 13 arrests were made, although a few more were made in the following days.

Sanitizing Our Politics: People Over 60 Should Not Vote!
In terms of percentages, senior citizens are more committed to voting than youthful citizens. The main reason for this is because old people feel attached to their neighborhoods and country due to their long (mostly permanent) duration of residence. They are true patriots- we have to give them that! But besides wanting “what is best” for the country and humanity as a whole, most old people are also less educated, mentally unstable, and completely out of touch with the modern and future worlds. Their political views are mostly idiosyncratic and their take on morality is totally offensive to younger, productive generations. We cannot trust people who don’t exactly understand the social context of the modern world to decide “what is best” for us.

In this intriguing work, Dr. King expressed great sadness that after more than a decade of the Civil Rights Movement, blacks were worse off than they were 10 years before. The plight of Black America today would have left him mortified.

Britain and the 'Good Savage'
It is well documented that Britain does not have a good history with diversity. When I say 'history', I do not mean five or ten years' ago, I mean actual history. Imperialist Britain saw the rise of the Empire and then, the eventual fall. But the strength of the civil vs. savage argument is still there. The point of the Victorian stance was that if the British army went over to these particular countries (Asia, Africa etc.) they would be able to civilise the savages. Since then, there has been discussion of whether this is still going on without explicit movement. This rhetoric of what a 'good' immigrant is whether they be first, second or even third generation - some of the white-British make it clear that though you were born here you will never be one of them.
