Labour 20 Points Ahead.

Labour Opening A Wide Chasm Between Themselves and Conservatives.

Man On The Up: Sir Keir Starmer.

If Sky News 'Poll of Polls' is accurate, Sir Keir has much to celebrate. His Labour Party has widened the vast canyon between them and the Conservatives. The Labour Party now has a 20% lead over the government. Since Boris stepped down as leader, along with the Liz Truss fiasco, when Sunak came to power, the Tories have been in the doldrums.

Teachers are striking today for the second day this week. A Tory spokesman commented that this fact was "Sad". This strike is one of many that have bedevilled this government this year. Solicitors, doctors, train drivers, nurses, you name it, they have been on strike. Every industry more or less has been 'downed tools' (as it were) and joined the picket lines.

Strikes have always been the workers' way to get back at employers. Strikes have happened this year across the length and breadth of the country. Workers have been on strike (urged on by their unions) for many reasons. Better pay and conditions are always reasons why people have gone on strike. And that has been, much the same, in this time period.

Although one would question why legal eagles would go on strike. Given the fact that they must be some of the highest-paid professions in the country. Likewise, train drivers, are well paid too. That said, being a train driver is much more hazardous than being a solicitor. Maybe, it is unfair, to compare both professions. Both professions had and have their own reasons for striking.

When you see nurses and teachers (even though some may say they are well paid comparatively) going on strike they would be justified. Given the work they have to do and all the things they suffer. To bring a good standard of health care and education. In both the education and health industries workers are struggling. The government keeps repeating the mantra of investing in both professions. If they are, what has the money been spent on? If there is no improvement in working conditions or whatever that government money was allocated for, then something is very wrong!

Many people are tired of this 'not fit for purpose' administration. The same old excuses, the same old sleaze, the same old 'out of touch' Tories. 5 useless Prime Ministers who should not have been in 10 Downing Street. Enacting cuts and caps on services the most vulnerable amongst us depend on.

The hypocrisy of telling us all not to mix during lockdown yet that's exactly, what they did. The arrogance of this administration and their total disrespect for the people of this country. The attitude of this government has been of one of the ruling class and the peasantry. Not surprising given the background of many Tory ministers. Many come from wealth and it shows in their dealing and handling of this nation. There are working-class Tories like Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden. That said when Tories from working-class backgrounds mix with their upper-class peers, they become like them.

It seems with strikes and people finally getting behind Labour the population has woken up. People are fed up with rising costs whether they be from bills or their shopping. The Conservatives have been in power for 13 years. 13 years of literal hell for many. A government out of time and a government out of ideas. The time has come for change but the government will not call a general election. They are running scared because they were beaten back harshly in the local elections. They have been and will be losing by-elections. Wishy-Washy and his crew are sinking fast.
