Bully-POTUS

I worked for the Federal government for 23 years. When administrations change, the workers are always given a new mission. Every president has his own agenda. We got used to it.

Trump, the convicted felon who was re-elected, is using his official office and his appointed Heads of Departments and Agencies to retaliate against those who were in the Department of Justice and part of the team that prosecuted him. He released all the insurrectionists, even those who beat police officers, causing harm, death, and PTSD to the officers and their families. Matthew Huttle, one of those pardoned, was stopped by Chicago police on January 27, had an altercation, and ended up shot dead by the police. The Federal complaint against Huttle was that he was at the Capitol on January 6th with his uncle, and investigators managed to get videos uploaded to his own Google account of him there. He said in one of his videos that a group of people were going to the Capitol and that he was "going to see if we can get inside." They identified him on security video inside the building, including inside the Capitol's crypt. Also arrested was Huttle's uncle. He agreed to a plea deal (like Matthew) and was sentenced to 30 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. The complaint says he was identified on video assaulting officers with a flagpole on the steps of the Capitol. He was also pardoned.

I was happy to see Governor Newsom pointing his finger at Trump as he got off the plane in California with hat-wearing, shaded-eyes Melania. Trump didn't do anything back toward the governor because he is a bully and was confronted by a person with authority. After all, California's economy is the 5th largest in the world. I happened to be in Las Vegas on the day Trump had a rally at the Circa Casino. Why does he have rallies when he is elected? Video of the President of the United States showed him inside the Vegas casino heading to the craps table with a tiny crowd of people shouting his name. Give me the vomit bag now.

He and his wife are still hawking their ridiculous goods, and it is probably amazing to them that people buy them. I imagine they sit in their private quarters laughing while figuring out what to sell next. Donnie: "If they want to buy our stuff, let's give them more. They're buying the Bibles and the shoes. Hey, Melania! Maybe you should do a hair care line and sexy lingerie." Melania smiles broadly from far across the room, saying, "Donald, thet is a varry goood ideah." He tries to get a kiss, but she pushes him away and frowns.

Today, an email was sent to the entire Federal workforce. I have linked it below the story. It says, "The Reformed Federal Workforce" will be around four pillars: Return to office – they want everyone back in the office. The problem is that most of the leased space isn't there now, so they will have to let contracts and find desks, and this will cost money and put more traffic on roads. Performance Culture – they will review and reward excellent performance (not very good examples at the top, so good luck). Streamlined and Flexible Workforce – I hate to tell them, but it was streamlined sufficiently during COVID-19. They want to conduct Reductions in Force (except for people they know or like and need a job). The Fourth one is laughable – Enhanced Standards of Conduct, which mentions loyalty (like a Mob Boss that he aspires to). Trump and his team continually violated ethics standards in 2016 and are again embracing violations, yet they want to enhance the standards of their career employees. Federal employees are required annually to take classes. His son-in-law Jared didn't take them, nor could he correctly complete forms on personal investments that I had to complete. This email is bullying Federal employees, wanting them to run scared and leave the workforce. They offer, "If you resign under this program, you will retain all pay and benefits regardless of your daily workload and will be exempted from all applicable in-person work requirements until September 30, 2025." They have even included a pre-written resignation letter.

He is pulling the government apart thread by thread. People need to stand up. #resist

I missed this! What an insight for Brits like me watching the tsunami from over the Atlantic. Great story.

  • Congrats on top story…

And this is why we need to keep writing. We need to spread the truth because even mainstream media is being bullied. Keep writing and informing our country what’s up. I’ll be doing the same.

Omgg I can't believe I missed this! Please forgive me, Andrea!! Anyways, I think we all feel the same way. I can't explain my frustration with what's currently happening, it's boiling my blood more and more each day. Thanks for sharing this, Andrea! Congratulations on top story, this needs to be heard! 💘🌟🥳🎉🥳🎉

My mother was a Career Federal employee at HUD, My father in State of Colorado Government. Both now 80, I was born when they were 18. I chose to go into Standup in 1985 because I knew I would do it very well and...how can you not? But I have seen serious things in my life. And I have earned an experience dealing with Monsters just like Trump. Reasonable men and women must remain in control of the Monster. I'm hoping more than myself will step forward. But, I know what and how, and why it is absolutely essential.

The way you describe Trump's use of his office to retaliate against those who prosecuted him is both chilling and eye-opening. How did you gather such detailed information about the insurrectionists and their pardons? Your insights into the current political climate are incredibly valuable. Keep up the great work!

You have my sympathy. I imagine you are torn between the need to sustain a salaried job that has served you well enough for 23 years and the need to tell a bullying POTUS where he can shove it. The regressive onslaught of illegal and irresponsible decisions this wannabe dictator has made in so short a time has left me speechless, and while I knew it would be coming, its tornado like effect has been unbelievable. I am more perplexed, however, that so many fail to see his antics. I on the other hand fear them and the impending doom they carry.

Wild that we're still not even fully through January. It's ridiculous how inefficient and confusing his administration is making things already. Should be interesting to see how much money they waste (like pulling people back into office space that doesn't currently exist) while yelling about overspending.

I agree! Trump is a narcissistic self centered bigoted moron! If you’d like you can share your wonderful article on my Facebook! ❤️

I have mixed emotions about workers working from home. Many times when I have called they don't have knowledge to help me, then I ask if they are working from home. However, I do feel that people are better off in the work place, if they don't the jobs will just be shipped overseas. However, I don't get into politics.

  • Rachel Deeming12 months ago

Andrea, this is all very worrying and does nothing to enhance my opinion of the President. I feel like this is going to get to a point where people MUST make a stand but how that will look, I do not know.

It’s disheartening to see the Federal workforce subjected to tactics like this, especially when they’ve worked tirelessly regardless of who occupies the White House. The message here isn’t just about politics—it’s a clear attempt at fear and control. This is about undermining public servants while distracting from real issues. We can’t stand by and let this bully pull the strings. It’s time to rise above and stand for a government that supports, not threatens, its employees. The fight for fairness and accountability starts with us. #Resist #FairnessMatters #EndBullyTactics

Yes he is a bully, and bullies always surround themselves with a pack of cowards & bullies. He is also threatening and insulting Panama with a bunch of lies that demonstrate he is a liar and is ignorant of history: https://medium.com/the-geopolitical-economist/trumps-lies-about-the-panama-canal-02330c3cc4a8 He threatens Panama because he owes 💰 millions in taxes, because it is a small country without an army. I bet he doesn't have the "cojones" to go against Russia, Germany or even Venezuela which is one of the primary causes of the wave of immigrants.

  • Thank you for your informative article. I'm an Aussie and find it extremely difficult to understand how, after experiencing Trump 1.0, the USA somehow thought that Trump 2.0 could possibly be better! He doesn't care about anyone but himself, making those that have wronged him 'pay' for their disloyalty, oh, and of course making himself and his buddies even richer. The rich get richer . . . and the poor get . . . screwed over and starve, or die because they can't afford their medicine! The joys of living in a Christian country, huh? My thoughts and prayers are with all those groups who are scared right now about what the next four years may bring!

I don't even know where to start with this man, how about 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Okay, I feel a little better now but seriously, he doesn't have a conscious bone in his body. We all know why they moved the inauguration indoors and kept his so-called supporter out in the cold. He's scared that someone else is going to try and take one for the team. So glad this got Top Story. Everyone including the minions need to read it.

As a Canadian we watch, but i have a feeling we will survive and the next four years will make us stronger so that we will be become more self sufficiant.

Bravo from Canada. Your topic is one that needs expression, and you've expressed it masterfully.

It's frustrating when a president try to undone progress and set it backwards. I just don't get it. Why is there no one stopping him. He is adding more spending than saving. Congrats on Top Story !!!

  • Andrea, all of this is heartbreaking. My stomach turns every time I see his face. He has rescinded Biden’s executive order which lowered the price on prescription drugs and capped the price of insulin to $35. He has put federal grants on hold. He has put a freeze on federal aid which affects Medicaid and SNAP. These are all programs I rely on as the 24/7 caregiver for my mom. If these go away or are decreased my life, which is hard enough already, which become devastating. I don’t know if you seen some of my articles in the Swamp community, I have been very vocal here and in social media overall. Before the election I had conversations with several young people about why it was important to vote for Biden then Harris. Of the twelve I spoke with 4 went a head and voted for their third party candidate, 7 did not vote at al. I managed to convince only one to vote for Kamala. The others could not get over Biden/Harris’s handling of the Israel/Palestine conflict. Now several of them regret not voting or voting third party. What can I say? I am taking a break but will get back to fighting soon. Newsom, has done an excellent job as governor. He does a great job putting Trump in his place. Trump seems intimidated by Newsom. Newsom is smarter, stronger, aggressive, and taller. Great article, well researched, and well written.
