Dorian's Story
One early summer morning (2007) in sunny California, a 32-year-old man could be found sitting in front of his computer profusely sweating as he had not moved since 8:00 pm the previous night. When you are in a bind financially and have a family to support, sleeping is not an option. His parents always worked so hard and never let him forget that. They moved to America before he was born and provided everything he ever needed, but it was not without consequence. Because his parents were so successful, they expected nothing less from their only son. Dorian had above average intelligence, but he also had what the doctor’s call ADHD. The “H” stood for hypo rather than hyper. With this, Dorian felt there was a shadow that hovered over him throughout his life and it followed him well into adulthood. He had the intelligence but there was no motivation to drive him to the success his parents expected of him.

The Name
Patience was Riley Gibbon’s strongest virtue; some would say his only one. Twelve years working as a maintenance worker in a data centre in rural Australia eliminated any career ambitions. He wasn’t an adventurous thrill seeker; in all that time, Riley had never travelled outside of his annual trip to Sydney on Christmas to see his mum. He wasn’t the type to revel in change; he never moved house, never so much as changed the daily route he took to work and chose to stay in the same single story bitumen with its aluminium roof that soaked up too much of the hot outback sun.

Alas, time will reveal all as it passes; and therein lies an important keyword to this enigmatic story: time. You see, there have been many theories in the world as you know it about time. It is important to remember that everything in the knowledge of humans is a theory, and always will be until enough time passes that a greater understanding befalls humanity. Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency “Bitcoin” but no one has ever seen this person in real life because he is the leader of the anarchy group called “The Anonymous.” Only Nakamoto’s notes can be found and nothing of where is or who he actually is can be found. No one can find the creator of “Bitcoin” because he has literally mastered staying off the grid he’s the only person in the world living by his own rules because of that fact.

The Last Great Dragon
In the middle ages, earth was riddled with dragons. They had huge scales with emerald hues, wings the size of a human and eyes the colour of the gold they so loved and adored. Dragons dwelled in caves, isolated from society. The people of the middle ages were terrified of them, and rightfully so, dragons came in the night, destroyed villages in one fiery breath, ate their livestock, and pillaged their gold. It was not necessarily their fault, dragons were greedy in nature, and if they saw gold laying there for the taking, who were they to decline such a tempting offer?
