March of the Mods
The year was 1965, I was thirteen years old and I opened the box as though I were opening a chest full of jewels, Inside the thin layer of cardboard and hidden beneath a mountain of tissue paper were my first pair of Chelsea boots This was to be the first stage of my becoming a Mod (short for modernist) At the school I attended you were either a Beatles (Mod) fan, or a Rolling Stones (Rocker) fan, even though the Stones would early in their careers opt for the mod look, the point was that there was no in-between, you were what you wore when you clambered out of your school uniform and hit the streets. I opted for the mod look, even though I was a massive Stones fan.

Now &Then!
I have always, and by always, I mean since being a very young girl, had a love affair with clothes. I remember being dressed by my mum way back in the year dot? She always explained why she was dressing me in what she had chosen, and why it was the right thing to wear.

So, read at your own discretion you have been warned. Finally although the title is incredibly overused, sue me. The other option was supposed to be MAPA, you can figure out what that title was supposed to mean.

Nostalgic Fashion Styles
From my nostalgic memories of old trends to comparisons to modern fashion and style trends. Basic Make-Up When I was in school and for a few years after, make-up was a means of smoothing out skin tones, concealing blemishing, and accentuating your features. You had concealer, foundation, blush, one to three eye shadow colors, lipstick, a thin layer of eyeliner, and mascara. Some also opted to use an eyelash curler. You also only needed a few make-up brushes.

I Want My Full Size Shirts Back
I'm not afraid to admit my sense of style is pretty lame. My closet basically consists of concert t-shirts and a few dresses that hang there and look pretty. I do have some nice clothes but honestly I don't keep up with all the latest trends. I wear whatever I feel like that day.
