Who - ooo?
Who was he? Every Wednesday Morning, same ritual. What was it about him? Why did I wait for him? Here he is... walking towards my shop window, will he pass? No. As usual 1. He hesitates, then looks closely in the window. 2. Slowly, carefully, he checks his scarf. I watch, waiting for him to move toward the door, to come in...but no, every Wednesday for the past four weeks the routine has not altered! 3. He pushes his hands, into his pockets and walks on.

I have always, and by always, I mean since being a very young girl, had a love affair with clothes. I remember being dressed by my mum way back in the year dot? She always explained why she was dressing me in what she had chosen, and why it was the right thing to wear.

Just another day
Just another day. So, it’s just you and me, I sigh, another day, another endless night, I glance at my lap top, he doesn’t agree, he flashes me wonderful photographs of the beautiful Libourne region in south west of France. I know his game! It’s in anticipation that something will catch my eye and make me reach out and click on one of these wonderful chateaux, or maybe a gastronomic restaurant that could offer me real French cuisine and wine?
