Welcome to our weekly Leaderboard update! We're delighted to highlight Vocal's most popular stories and emerging talents. Join us as we recognize this week's standout contributors and their remarkable achievements.
A reminder of some ground rules we use to formulate the Leaderboard:
The time period of data analyzed for each weekly Leaderboard is collected from 12:00am Wednesday - 11:59pm Tuesday ET each week. Creators can only win one place in one category on the leaderboard. Creators cannot win the same category two consecutive weeks. Creators will win the category that they placed the highest in. However, if the category they placed the highest in is the category they won the previous week, and they placed in another category in a lower place, they will win the category that they did not place in the previous week, in the lower place.

Such a welcome addition to the community of creators! It is also great to see so many pieces that have truly taken into consideration the wonderful aspects of Vocal and the places where change is needed. I do hope that if these leaderboards are to exist they could represent the best of us and this is one that is an "almost" but "not yet".

Thank you everyone. I appreciate the nod but I feel like it was a community win. I'm going to find a way to pay it forward ;)
I'm always grateful to see myself on the leaderboard, I am. But...I don't know, Vocal. I don't know what it means anymore. Does it mean anything at all in terms of achievement? We live in a world where fakery rather than endeavour is applauded, where fatuous declarations gain more kudos than sincere reports and it seems to me that this leaderboard is a representative microcosm of that world to some extent. I am disappointed but I don't suppose that will mean anything, will it? Would love you to comment, whoever is responsible for compiling this list. The majority of people here? Great creators. To them, I say "Well done!" You know who you are because you write with integrity, originality and fervour and can say hand on heart, that was all my own work. But there are always pretenders who slip through. It makes a mockery of the word "leader", again a symmetry not lost on me in the times we live. Hello, disillusionment, my unwanted friend.
