So instead I said I’m just here for you
Not trying to just watch over you just to extend my kindness
But that wasn't the right moment to tell you
Tell you the real reason why I was worried about you
Yet you asked ‘why me’
I dodge that bullet not only once but twice
But my words still impacted you
You knew that I was really there for you
Here continuing to pray for you
Until I’m ready to lose you, I’ll won’t be honest about my feelings for you

Wow - I don't know what to think about your poem Emily. You know me I actually read your poems all the way through and when I don't understand I read it again. You barely know someone but your words impacted them, but you are ready to loose them, but you won't be honest about your feelings for them. I don't totally understand and your poem left me confused.
That last line especially stings in the best way. Sometimes, feelings are easier to carry than to reveal.💖
