Perverted sexual desires

Research has shown that these sexual desires are often accompanied by other mental illnesses. About 70% of these patients suffer from depression, 40% from drug addiction, 38% from severe stress, and about 35% from hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder in childhood.

Voyeuristic Disorders

Usually, any person has a hidden desire to see the genitals of a person of the opposite sex, without clothes, taking off clothes, or bathing without clothes. However, such a patient often does this act secretly, without asking for consent. This is a mental illness seen among men. They get sexual satisfaction and vitality from looking at this. Often, they masturbate while looking at this. Otherwise, they recall the girl they saw on another occasion and go to a sexual dream and masturbate or enjoy themselves. They never commit any sexual assault or other physical harm to the woman they are suffering with.

These people often prey on teenage girls of school age. These people display their genitals in this way at bus stops, train stations, and cinemas. 80% of these display their unerect penis. About 20% display their erect penis. Some of them masturbate while looking at those girls. Others later recall those incidents and erect their penis and masturbate. Surveys have shown that most patients who suffer from this are people who are under a lot of stress and cannot control their immature emotions. Many people regret it after behaving this way. It has also been found that a few who suffer from this have antisocial personalities. Most of them are between the ages of 15 and 25, and 75% are under the age of 40.

About 5% of them are reported to be people with low intelligence or suffering from psychosis.

Forcible touching or desire to touch

(Frotteurism)

This is a condition in which one gets sexual pleasure by forcibly touching or touching parts of one's body or genitals without asking for consent. This condition is seen in crowded places, bus stops, train stations, etc. They often recall these sexual dreams and masturbate.

Masochism is the desire to achieve sexual stimulation by inflicting pain or suffering on one's body or genitals. This desire is achieved in various ways. Sexual stimulation is obtained in various ways, such as cutting oneself, being beaten with a whip, being made to urinate on one's body, being blindfolded, etc. Sexual stimulation is rarely obtained by strangling one's neck with a belt or by having someone else tighten one's neck. This is a very dangerous situation. Even death can occur in this case. This sexual satisfaction is often obtained from someone one knows. It can often be from one's partner.

Many abnormal sexual behaviors cannot always be considered a mental illness. If a sexual act does not cause physical or mental pain to another or oneself, and if it does not cause trouble to others in society, it is not considered a mental illness.

Causes of abnormal sexual behavior

You may already understand that deviant sexual desires, such as the desire to peek, showing genitals in public places, paranoia, and the desire to wear women's underwear, have been identified as mental illnesses in psychiatry. The exact reasons why a person becomes susceptible to such a condition are not known, but experts believe that genetic and environmental factors play a role in this.

Incorrect sexual ideas enter the mind at a young age

(Cognitive Distortions)

According to psychologist Aaron T. Begg, our thoughts or long-term memory circuits (Schemas) are embedded in the mind from childhood, and many of the decisions and behaviors we make today are created according to those memory circuits. If incorrect sexual thoughts or behaviors enter our minds at a young age, they can become part of our character one day. Let's think like this. There are three boys in a family. The parents and the mother were very worried about the absence of one of the boys at home. Everyone addressed the youngest of these three children as ''girl.'' Family members and relatives said that she was as beautiful as a girl. His little mind felt strongly that his parents loved a girl more. This child, who will become an adult one day, may be prone to the mentality of wanting to wear women's underwear.

Various types of brain damage during childhood or later can also lead to such perverted sexual desires. A person may also be prone to abnormal sexual behaviors in conditions such as congenital intellectual disability, brain damage due to accidents, or damage to the temporal lobe due to conditions such as seizures.

Scientists have found that abnormal sexual behaviors also occur in diseases caused by damage to the amygdala and temporal lobe.
