Merry Christmas to everyone! Let's look at some things to watch out for today on Christmas Eve. 1. Be observant. Today, some people are rushing around to grab last-day gifts before Christmas. Get a kick out of the ones that are running around frantically in a store. These people are procrastinators. Take the time to observe what you are doing so that you will not become a procrastinator like the rest of the mediocre masses that surround you on a daily basis.

During the holiday season, here are some things that we all need to watch out for on this Watch Out Wednesday! Wow! 1. Beware of the flu season. This is the time that we are normally around family more than usual, but this flu season is more than aggressive this season. The new flu strain this year is called subclade K that affects adults over twice as much more than children. This strain is shown to be more resistant than the ones from last winter. Social distance comes to mind, especially with who is currently the US Health and Human Services Secretary.

'We Ain't Buying It!' Boycott is this weekend
The 'We Ain't Buying It!' boycott is scheduled to be this weekend from Black Friday until Cyber Monday (Friday, November 28 to Monday, December 1). The goal of this blackout is to temporarily stand up against major corporations that are enabling the Trump Administration. Instead, money during this time period will be spent on items being sold by local small businesses.

Each generation has had different trends that seem so nonsensical to other generations. For example, baby boomers created the counterculture during the 1960's with the civil rights movement and the hippie movement. Generation X is filled with children that were into more independent thinking due to many of them being "latchkey kids" and due to the introduction of video games and MTV.
