Munchausen by Covid
I knew it would happen eventually. With Omicron came increasing case numbers and an increasing contagion rate. Despite being careful, I knew catching the virus was a possibility. What I didn't expect, however, was the emotional side effects of Coronavirus for those with pre-existing conditions of Munchausen by Proxy trauma.

The Modern Maslow Hierarchy of Needs
Maslow posited that to move up in life, tiers of needs needed to be met before an individual could essentially level up. However even he saw the fallacy in the original statement that the perception was that each need must be 100 percent satisfied before the next need could emerge and be met.

Nocturnal Fright
Did you hear that? As the silence broke the bridged night. Did you see that? Hollowed marrow falsified the bright light. Was I going mad? Insane with the brink of the endless life. Nocturnal fright was why I never dreamt with the night. Only fright was why I couldn’t seem to ever just close my eyes. I longed for a restless night, just one settled peach of some delight. I could feel it, those hollow eyes protruding through my soul. I could sense it, the monster sitting on my shoulders pushing me more down the endless hole.

As an Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) based clinician, I am in the business of quality enhancement and working to choose valued action despite the discomfort we face in our lives.

The turmoil
I can hear the pitter patter of the rain falling against the asphalt, making its presence known. The dimly lit street reflecting its shine from the already made puddles. I try to sit up and feel a throbbing in my head “ow” I mutter to no one but the barn owl perched on the street light. I smell iron and I grab at my head; blood. Well I must have got into some trouble last night. I glance at my phone; 8 missed calls and 2 unread texts “great” I sigh. It’s of course my mother checking in on me. Since the passing of my sister I’ve been keeping to myself, I of course understand she lost a daughter but I lost my best friend. I was the last person she contacted before… well before the accident, I blame myself.

How Does Anger Affect the Body?
A few things that transpired in our adolescence stay with us and erupt when we encounter comparative circumstances of shame or feeling weak. Likely, he's unconscious that he's apprehensive about being deserted or, similar to he was the point at which his folks got tanked at the bar and remained up until all hours, allowing him at home to sit unbothered during the evening. Do You Qualify for Disability?
Many people struggle with depression at some point in their lives. The symptoms of depression can limit their ability to work or socialize, and qualifying for disability benefits can be difficult. It is important to remember that debilitating depression is not a mental illness. The Social Security Administration has strict guidelines on what constitutes "debilitating" depression. To be eligible for disability benefits, you must have symptoms of depression that last at least two years and interfere with your ability to work. If you have been unable to work for a long time or have a limited capacity for the environment you live in, you may qualify for SSDI.

Relive & Rewire
My name is Tyler Franklin, I’m 32 years old, married, divorced, married again, currently a stay at home dad to my son, and live with anxiety and depression… great to meet you. The honest to god truth, I can’t believe I have lived the life I’ve lived. Sometimes I step back, and shake my head at the choices I’ve made that I now have to live with. Some good choices, some terrible, and some that are still t.b.d. The past decade has been a series of dramatic swings of highs, lows, and eventually rock bottom. Beautiful moments now memories as gorgeous as the pink sky before the sun disappears. While other moments have challenged the values I’ve tried to bring to pass.
