An Insane Voice
Sometimes, life has a cunning way of teaching you a lesson. In my expireince, the most prudent lessons that I have learned were dealt by a firm hand. I have been struck down and risen up, only to be beat back again. It was a pernicious cylce of self-reliance which finally came to an abrupt end. I dont know if it was grace, ignorance, or my own ego, but here I am, writing to you a "changed" man. Back then, in a twisted way, I found solace in my own destruction. Outside of instinctual drive, I beleive there to be no true answer as to why people do what they do, espeically when it comes to alcohol and drug addiction.

The Narcissist And His Family
Question: Is there a “typical” relationship between the narcissist and his family? Answer: We are all members of a few families in our lifetime: the one that we are born to and the one(s) that we create. We all transfer hurts, attitudes, fears, hopes, and desires – whole emotional baggage – from the former to the latter. The narcissist is no exception.

Things you must know about LDN therapy
What is LDN therapy? Naltrexone is an opioid receptor blocker, which in 1984 was approved by the FDA for treating opioid addiction. “Low dose” basically refers to the utilization of a daily dose that is about 1/10th of the dose typically given for the treatment of opioid addiction. At such lower doses, the medicine acts differently, presenting anti-inflammatory responses and useful influences on the immune system. LDN has been clinically used since the late 19s, but there was no general attention given to its various therapeutic applications until more recently.

I only communicated with her a couple of times but tried so many..but she blocked me. I joined Al-Anon to help with my healing but I do miss her and wish we could heal our relationship. Art Therapy, Relaxation and Mindful Living
The concept of mindfulness originated from early Buddhist practices, an historically encouraged and enlightened meditation with emphases on awareness of one’s emotions, sensations, and consciousness (Hinchey, 2018). Art Therapy today practices mindfulness to help an awareness of self and a capacity to reflect. Mindfulness, meditation and behavioural therapy in the expression of art therapy, creates mindfulness through art (Goguen- Hughes, 2010). Mindful relaxation techniques are used in mindful based art therapy to reduce damaging effects of stress by activating the body’s natural relaxation response, through practises of mindfulness relaxation techniques and mindful meditation. Mindfulness is based on meditation principles without judgment, paying attention to experiences and emotions in the present moment. Artistic expression for mindful living, relaxation and meditation have the same fundamental principles of Art in the mental health profession in that it is a creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of people. Jensen, (2016) offers the creative process of artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behaviour, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight. Art therapy is a creative method of expression with therapeutic techniques to gain mindfulness, relaxation and meditation. Whereby, art therapy as a profession used in the health care system assists in treating patients with mental health disorders and psychological problems.

A Change of Scenery
The beach house was the last place I wanted to be. Mom's friend Marcia Grayson had offered over the timeshare residence for a long weekend so that I could "get away from it all." And, of course, Mother dearest had pounced on the opportunity, citing a need for a vacation for herself as well as a reprieve for me after being released from the hospital. I know I probably sounded like an elitist little brat who spat out the distaste of silver spoons feeding me peeled grapes, but after a mental breakdown your priorities ran a bit different. No matter what my psychiatrist might have told you, I probably could have survived with just Netflix and a pint of Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream.

RUBY
Chapter 2: Ruby Growing up, Ruby was my closest "friend," even though she was actually my aunt. She wasn't much older that I was, and in the beginning I didn't mind spending time with her, even though we often practiced inappropriate things. You see, Ruby was being sexually abused as well, often bragging about how she was taken to nudist beaches at the age of 11-13. While I cant confirm how long she was being abused, I can confirm how long she was abusing my brothers and I.
