Summer Survivor
***TRIGGER WARNING. MENTION OF SE*UAL AS*AULT IN THIS STORY. Sweet summer. For most people my age, summer is a breath of fresh air. A break from the eight hour school day, A break from homework, mean teachers and the early mornings. I remember thinking to myself, "This is going to be the best summer yet". It'll be full of fun, parties and adventure. The summer ended up being the worst of my life.

Virtual games, real drugs
The stakes are high in the final rounds of major Counter-Strike tournaments. The teams face hours of competition, they have to think strategically and show skill. They still have the battles of the last rounds in their bones, not to mention the hours of daily training to prepare. If even one player loses concentration, the glory of victory may be gone - and with it prize money and lucrative sponsorship and advertising contracts. In short, the four word sentence might as well be officially respected as a fact of life.

It is used primarily in treating patients with Parkinson's disease by blocking a protein called apigenin.

Every Breath is a Blessing
Every breath is a blessing. Today is my one year birthday. I should be dead, many times over, but I’m still here. “Why?” You may ask. My Higher Power wanted me alive so I could tell you my story. At 14 years old I began using drugs. At 16 I started using heavy drugs and using the needle. I lived my life like there was no tomorrow. Afterall there may not be. Tomorrow is promised to no one. But for me I didn't care if I lived or died. I was foolish.

Modern technology has allowed us to do some amazing things.
