The Story of My Life
Hi, my name is Sarah Malinchak, and I am going to tell you the story of my life. It was 2:10 P.M. November 7th, 1997, and my mom had just given birth to me. I don't remember much of my childhood except little bits. Before I knew it, I was turning two. I remember my mom told me and my little sister she was going to the store and we had to stay with our mammal (grandma) and Uncle Jimmy. We went into our uncles’ room to watch Pokémon and we fell asleep because we were little. We were both woken up by a loud thud in the other room, it was mammal falling off the ladder she was on putting the Christmas lights up. Then the cops were there and we were talking to them because as my sister put it "Our pee pee butt hurts." that was the first time they took me and my sister from our mom and we were given to our Aunt Amy. She is our mom’s sister.

Why Craft Distillers Are Pushing for Direct to Consumer Sales
Craft distillers are a new breed of small-batch producers who have been steadily gaining popularity over the last few years. What makes them different from larger companies is that they use traditional methods to produce their spirits, which means no additives or artificial flavourings, but use all-natural handpicked ingredients for the products. They also choose to focus on single product lines and do not distribute as widely as other brands, as their focus is more on quality and taste, rather than the production of big quantities and profits. Some good examples of this are The Lakes Whisky and that classic craft gin, Old Bakery Gin.

Is "Big Whisky" Afraid Of The Craft Spirit Movement?
Big whisky is a term used to describe the large, multinational conglomerates that produce and sell alcoholic beverages. These companies are often referred to as "big spirits" or "big liquor", and are mass producing companies, with huge annual figures. Craft spirit, on the other hand, like The Lakes Whisky producers, refers to smaller distilleries that create their beverages in small batches, but pay more attention to creating an artisan beverage that offers great taste sensations. The craft movement has been growing over the past few years and it's changing what we know about drinking and how we drink. Big whisky companies see this as an emerging market with potential for growth, but at the same time they don't want to be overshadowed by these new craft distilleries. The major difference between big whisky and craft spirits is that craft spirits are distilled in smaller batches while big whisky is distilled in large quantities, because, craft distillers pay far more attention to the quality of their product than quantity and profit.

What Is The Difference Between Liquor And Liqueur?
What is the difference between liquor and liqueur, is an age old question asked by many people. Liquor, also known as spirits, is a distilled beverage that contains ethanol. Liqueurs are sweetened alcoholic beverages made from distilled alcohol and flavoring ingredients such as fruits or herbs. A key attribute of liquor is that it's typically consumed neat (without ice or mixers). Another distinguishing factor is that liquors tend to be strong due to their high alcohol content; they're often 40% ABV (80 proof) whereas wines can range anywhere from 8% ABV (20 proof) to 20%. So, the alcohol percentage for liquors ranges between 20% and 50%, while liqueurs have an alcohol content of less than 20%. Some common examples of liquors include vodka, gin, whiskey and tequila. Examples of popular liqueurs include Bailey's Irish Cream and Chambord raspberry-flavored fruit liqueur.
