worldwide guilt of the 21st century
A RubyRed Original Poem

something inside endlessly screeches
demanding to be freed
and allowed to wreak havoc.
the twisted, wrongful guilt we question
is everlasting
just as we believe love to be.
the something we refuse to understand
and only ever glimpse
cannot be seen as a friend.
it will forever encourage silence within your blackened heart
and weigh several thousands upon the world's caged, passionate hope.
at some point we will discover the importance
of what we constantly avoid
but must face almost entirely always.
