NOTICE:

What follows is a PSA

From one whose patience ends today.

His tolerance for blatant gall

Has hit a necessary wall.

No longer will this one allow

The pompous, “holier-than-thou”

A space within his heart or mind

To store the drivel from your kind.

To those who offer their support

With no disclosure or report

That states what backing you will cost:

You are not welcome here. Get lost.

~

And if you're here to make a case

Against those of a given race,

Be warned, this one will simply close the door

On you and all that you stand for.

~

This time-worn soul has had enough

And consequently, will rebuff

Without the slightest hint of pause

The words of any who would cause

~

Unrest, dissent, or discontent

Based on a rumor or event

As told by members of the press

Or politi – but I digress...

~

No altruism is claimed here,

Only a wish not to hear

The bleating of a blinded sheep

Or troll whose thoughts are all but deep.

~

Please, stand on notice, friends and foes,

I'll read your poetry and prose,

And comment where appropriate,

But blowhards can kiss this guy's butt.
