Us. The men arrived, guns in hand, fighting for their sacred land. The battle over, most had died, in vain, alone, but on My side.

Wow. This really does succinctly and poignantly sum up the history of humanity. Another brilliant entry 👌🙏🤍
This was so devastating! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Profound! Everyone is always one of Us and the bad people are always Them. No one ever thinks they're one of Them, do they 🤔
Us and them. The history of the world in fifty painful words. I’d like to think that you intended both meanings of vain in this story, knowing your love of double meanings. Vanity, vanity, said the preacher, all is vanity. The history of man, gender intended, in 8 words. I loved this, Christy. Raw, simple, on point!
This one bites. Christy. I love the parallels and to me reads like an analysis really of most wars and battles and disagreements. Well done in so few words.
Cleverly done, and sadly too true 🤍
