your eyes feel heavy
your whole being feels safe and heavy
heavier now
and heavier still
you feel the needless weight of stress
lifting gently off your shoulders
releasing effortlessly from your jaw
all tensions and concerns are gently leaving the space behind your eyes
you are relaxed
free, calm, tranquil, smiling
breathing
floating, exhaling all that is no longer needed,
floating above the tranquil deep blue lake
floating up into the warm, soft caress of clouds like cotton
comfortable in your skin, and in your life, and with your choices
you are at peace
peace lives within you
you are free once more to be a believer in trust,
in yourself -- your beautiful deserving self

you are
happier than you have been
in far too long
*
you are at one with yourself, your many selves
*
you are ready now
to open your eyes anew --
but keep eyes closed just a moment longer --
for this one perfect moment, be still
be in it
be free
feel free
know your self with the permission you need from none but you
you are
at peace
floating effortlessly
breathing
grateful
happy

when I count back down from 3, to 2, to 1, your eyes may open
and you will
remember
yourself
and all the love
surrounding you
rising up to welcome you
home
