Topsy-Turvy comes to town
Topsy-Turvy: Wonderland Poetry Prompt Day 28

Upside down
Round and round
Inside out
Without a doubt
Here comesā¦
Topsy-turvy.
Hope I donāt have scurvy!
My mindās a mess
Spinning with stress
Topsy-turvy, begone!
I beg all day long.
My poor brainās
a Ping Pong game
Till I flop into bed
Near almost dead
Then one eye blinkās time
I wake up just fine.
Topsy-turvyās departed
Leaving me glad hearted.

Enjoyable poem Thank you for sharing šāļøš»
This poem really captures that feeling of being all jumbled up. I've been there, when my thoughts are racing and I can't seem to focus. It's like being stuck in a topsy-turvy world. How do you think the poet managed to convey that sense of mental chaos so vividly? And what techniques do you think could be used to break out of that topsy-turvy state in real life? I'm glad the speaker in the poem found relief in the end. It makes you wonder what we can do to get to that calmer state more quickly.
