An Unrequested challenge
Someone said there is no rhyme for purple so I wrote a villanelle on the subject.
Caroline Jane suggested I combined it with Gina C's "Purple Turtle Rap" so I tried it .

That What Every Poet Knows

True Friendship Is Eternal
I have friends who I may not speak to for months, and I have friends who I lose contact with and then reconnect with and then started thinking that real friendship is eternal and will always be there. I feel sad for people who give up on friendship, often because of misunderstanding and refusal to forgive.
