The shame is too much to live with

Then The Day The Debt Men Called

Then the debt man came to call,

Through your gambling, we lost it all.

House and furniture, 100-inch TV,

Good bye Mr, you also lost me.

No curtains left to hide the shame,

Just empty rooms that curse your name.

The cards you played, the dice you rolled,

Left us in the dark, bitter and cold.

And me, the last you didn’t see,

I was a wager, you lost, now free.

Not yours to hold, nor yours to break,

Just one more thing you let them take.

The debt man smiled, the deal was done,

You gambled all, and now we’re done.

Regrets yes, you wasted my life.

i paid the price to be your wife.

Then the debt man came to call today

Through your gambling, we lost it all.

House and furniture, 100-inch TV,

Good bye Mr, you also lost me.
