She was a damsel of the waters.

A maiden of the sea,

Her love to sail upon the tides,

Wherever they may be,

To travel boldly with adventure,

Wherever the wind may have her roam,

A warrior of the ocean,

A place she called, home.

Rigorous and sturdy,

As unyielding as rock and stone,

Bold and dangerous,

With the sight of sword and bone.

As hearty as sailor with merry songs and spirits to raise,

Able to hold her drink, a merry jingle of praise!

She was a damsel of the waters wherever she may be,

A warrior of the ocean, the maiden of the sea...
