Slowly, the truth was turned into a lie

Innocence became guilt, freedom became a crime

Lions of news broadcasted propaganda for the corrupted

Elite politicians smiled as they demanded

Not one of us, for our own good, speak out in dissent

Calls to action went unanswered, as we kept quiet

Each time we failed to raise our voices, we lost a little more

Much truth in your words. It is a sorry state affairs. Sadly we are here because we've allowed it. We've allowed billion dollar corporations become regarded as individuals. We've allowed inexperienced faux billionaires ruin our country with their faux religious beliefs so they can control only for the sake of control. We've allowed an unbalanced and corrupt Supreme Court proceed without a check and Balance, they get away with giving immunity to crimes that do not deserve immunity. It's time to break them up and let the voice of the grassroots rule.

So true. I am glad you wrote this. We can be puppet of propaganda social media by remaining silent while they keep spreading lies. I hope this win !!!!πŸ†πŸŽ€
