I said, life without you, would be fun
But, like a garden, regret grows
It haunts my heart, a lost dream
A ghost, from days and nights
We shared together
Now, I miss the
Beautiful
Love I
Burned

Wow 🤩
Hi-i ~ Regrets we've all had a few ~ often with no redo's..! These few words bring us all back a bit..! j.in.l.a.
This is so impactful and saddening!
We humans are so resilient, but the heart, I hear, actually breaks when it breaks. So if we could only stop with the poor heart breaking. Heartfelt and lovely poem.
Wow Will, this was so beautifully articulated. I especially love the simile you had at the beginning, it gave such a powerful point with the imagery you painted!! Great work!
Shocking one!
Ahhh, fool's move ♥
And sometimes we don't knw the value of what we have until we lost it
Regret is new for these for me, I've read hurt and anger and grief, but regret has such a delicate and deep flavour.
Regret is something that I'll always have. Loved your poem!
Good work, Will. We can always expect quality from you.
That pain is palpable. Fantastic job
Regret grows. Phenomenal line. Thought this was so good.
Good one, Will. Regret is a beast! Though I do have to mention (to give this one the fair shot in the competition it deserves) the 3-syllable line is missing.
I hear you! This is excellent. I love the strong emotion that resonates through your work.
The is fantastic, Will. You're killing it with this challenge. Good luck
