Introduction "Father Figure" is my favourite George Michael song. I am here for many people and some, including my daughters and my close friends, see me as that at times. I always think I am still fifteen but I always make the effort to be there for people when I am needed to give love, advice, comfort and empathy.

A Controlled State Of Mind
We held galaxies in our hands. In that moment, we understood forever. Molding life, changing history. We were forever. Or at least we could be. Glistening street lights shining through the rain on the window. We are human, we are temporary. But I’d like to hope that someday I could live in that moment forever.

I often wonder, if celestial hands were to reach out to me, would I interlock my fingers with theirs? Or would I do as I always do, and mimic the souls around me? Turning a blind eye, holding the hands of logic instead. But as I empty my hands of all reason, and all logic, what is left?

Origami Girl
Introduction This is inspired by the thousand origami cranes in the Olive Coffee Shop which threw me back to when I and someone very close were both in hospital. We talked and chatted daily and she shared the amazing origami cranes that she made while she was there.
