A love letter to all my beautiful women out there

An ode to women on International Women's Day

By Hridya SharmaPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Enclasped in the beauty of feminine, the world awed at her glance,

In the mirth of her joy, the conundrums of empathic dualities started to dance.

There is grit in her bones, love in her soul and ambitions in her eyes,

With a fearless mind, she blazes with her radiance and breaks any glass ceiling that belies.

--

Enclothed in a saree or rocking her favourite pair of jeans,

Her expression of self is fulfilled by her creative force that enamours her dreams.

Striding through the existential realm, you look at her in awe and begin to wonder,

How can someone embody both the tenderness of the morning light and the prowess of the ferocious thunder?

----

Well, she is unfathomable as she cannot be labelled as a uniform being,

She is a paradoxical force of nature, living her life for herself and not to be by others seen.

Darkness in its darkest nook, divine effervescence in the purest form,

She is the beauty and she is the beast, who breaks the counterfeited norm.

----

She is me and she is you,

The one who looks every adversity in the eye and powers through

To all my beautiful women and girlies out there, I hope you shine through your brightest ray,

Smiling, laughing, dancing and befalling the horizon of success,

I hope you remember that every day you live deserves to be celebrated as Women’s Day
