performance poetry
Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
A Choice to Make
The day was dawning on the cold autumn day. Once a woman with a personality brighter than the stars shining in the night sky. But that all changed years ago when her heart was broken from the man she loved. She spent the next couple years a hollow shell of what she was before. Her family saw the difference, and so did she. But even though she tried, nothing seemed to make a difference. Once seeing the world as a bright ray of hope, now she sees it as a black hole of injustice. The one choice she was faced with, but didn’t want to accept. She could either walk down the path of bitterness and sorrow or walk down the path of acceptance and joy. As we all have that choice no matter what circumstances we are in. To embrace life to its fullest or just skate by life not enjoying what we are blessed with. It’s your choice to make, but with every choice you must accept whatever comes with it.

Special key
My emotions are like an unsolved puzzle, It requires a key or massage to be pried open, A rhythm or rhyme, a key of not just any kind, A code of any source, even a color of any coat, I have a puzzle that can not be defined, ever inch of society bring it harder to combined, to release this puzzle you have to truly see, The darkness of society in you and me,Ever step you take bring you closer, To solving a dark secret that has never been broken,an unlimited secret that requires only one thing to see, It’s called bravery in you and me, Every puzzle in me is very unique, Every book you read is a new chapter of me, Never let my emotions bring you into judging me, Because every unsolved puzzle is a chapter no one received from me.
