The Haunting of the Ageless Twink
The Ageless Twink is what they call the petite, gay man with the body of an eighteen-year-old but who is chronologically in their mid-thirties. One looks in the mirror, their hair still black with the exception of one stubborn gray that has lived rent-free on their scalp since high school.

My Guests
I sat in that room I was born in. I spent formative years with the duality watching over me. They were treacherous; at times affectionate and nurturing; others cold and barbaric. From kisses to strikes across my cheeks, to kicks above my knees. An upbringing riddled with light and darkness; a preparation for their departure and my first guest.

Christopher
I didn’t belong in that community, or perhaps the world itself. Growing up in Echo Park wasn’t bad. There was a bookshop I thoroughly enjoyed where all sorts of wonderful stories were available in tattered, vintage paperbacks. I loved this bookshop; I didn’t love how people would simply go there to socialize or work on their next big Hollywood screenplay.

The Day We Met Again
I didn’t feel like meeting with Drew. Nothing against him; I was simply tired. More tired than I had been the day before. I couldn’t sleep because of chatty Georgie. I loved Georgie, inarguably the best roommate in my entire life: we were kindred souls. Unfortunately, our chatter seemed to know no boundaries and he kept me awake until way past 5 a.m. that day.
