Conversations With the Moon
As we sit and converse with the moon, we must look to it as a reflection of ourselves. For we, too, go through phases. We feel heavy and empty on some days, and we feel light and full on others. The full moon reminds us that despite it all, we are always full. We are always whole. We are always home. We are always exactly where we are supposed to be. Our world is full of chaos, but it is nonetheless full. Let us remind each other during this time that it is okay to be tired, drained, and empty. Furthermore, let us remind each other that the emptiness is always but a phase, and that it is all for the sake of transformation. Our lives are full of as many tomorrows as we are given. Some of us are given more than others, but we are all here and breathing in the now. So let us live in the present moment, day by day, and fully feel each and every phase as it grows and fades away.

On James Dean
He was The Little Prince, with hair "the color of gold" and a laughter that bounced from the stars. Like The Little Prince, his eternal curiosity drove him to explore and ask questions, ignoring boundaries imposed by adults who didn’t understand. This could be seen in his searching eyes, reaching up through raised eyebrows as a child looking to his father.
