Earth
Mulch muddy, roots raw, Wet through with fresh, frigid rain, Deep exquisite earth. A/N: I never thought I would write a haiku-Ode to mud, but here we are! In England, we complain a whole-heck-of-a-lot about mud - sticking in our shoes, blocking our trails, and messing up our carpets. But I think it deserves some more love!
