A Collection of Thanksgiving Thoughts and Limericks and a Poem
Thanksgiving is around the corner. It is a food and family festival extravaganza in America. The grocery stores are locked and loaded. There are lots of places that offer prepared Thanksgiving dinners. And, for those who want to forgo cooking and cleaning and catering to relatives that they have to pretend to like, there are many restaurants that will be serving Thanksgiving dinners. I have exercised this option successfully many times and had some exceptional Thanksgiving dinners. Had my fill, paid the bill and then went home to watch football and chill.

Abracadabra
Remember when you pulled a rabbit from the hat in the form of a pregnancy test? Thought you tested positive for covid until I saw the words First response written in bold letters. My eyes sprung awake from a work-induced coma to meet the sparkle in yours. We were going to be the perfect parents.

I Miss the Days
“Happiness was different in childhood. It was so much then a matter simply of accumulation, of taking things—new experiences, new emotions—and applying them like so many polished tiles to what would someday be the marvelously finished pavilion of the self”. –John Banville

How Do I feel right now?
I feel this need to make up with my sister but she doesn't have to have anything to do with me. It's not been easy, I want to come back to live with her mainly because I've been scared to live out on the streets. I am pregnant with another man's baby, while married to my ex-husband still. I want to divorce him and he wants to be divorced from me. It hurts so much because we had some good memories. I couldn't keep taking care of him. time is everything they say but if that's the case then why can't they just forget everything. I don't know why? I don't even understand at whatsoever.
