Suspicious Activity
Poem about my recent vocal account blunders
Sucks it happened again
Unable to publish
Shackles for me
Prison, Vocal
I don't understand
Consecutive Mondays-two
I can't post my series
One I am proud of
Unfounded reasons
Sure, mistakes happen
Although
Creatively, I feel targeted
Truth be told, I am down
Innocent, I am innocent
Vocal, what the heck is going on?
Isle, I am on the isle of mute
Tech glitch, bot side bitch
Yours truly is less than amused

My Monday Morning Huddle was not approved on Monday, May 26th and Monday, June 2nd.
The two weeks before, I didn't publish due to ongoing knee pain from a work-related injury.
Magically, I can publish today.
Magically, I was able to publish other stories last week- just not my weekly huddle series.
It's making me think twice about continuing with my series.

How frustrating! I know they are supposedly working on some infrastructure things but whatever is going on I hate that it's caused an interruption in your series!
Knee pain, back pain, heart pain, all kinds of pain. Feel better and problems will be fixed. Patience..
Hope your knee gets better for I am also having knee issues as in swelling and wearing a brace. My issues were solved for remember I could comment and now I can. You will publish and I also like your Huddle series. Hope you keep going with it.
Huh, it's so weird that that wasn't approved. I really love your Monday series so I hope they fix whatever is wrong for you. I hope your knee pain is better now
Have you asked them? You should. I generally get very candid responses from the team within a day or two and it may be something simple? Anyway, nothing suspicious about you at all!
I've never heard of this, is this new? Wishing you a speedy recover, Marilyn! ๐โจ
Perhaps they think you are trying to join the wrong huddle, spy on the opposition.
Hopefully the Vocal team can get this fixed soon!!! ๐๐ฉท๐
I can't speak directly to your specific situation. However, I can tell you this.... Vocal has been experiencing ongoing massive attacks since February. Spammers & plagiarists of all kinds have been using Vocal for interconnected phishing scams. These attackers use a lot of A.I. generated content, even A.I. generated comments. Vocal has been actively trying to stop these people and some of Vocal's initial solutions weren't perfect. I personally know many long-time authors on Vocal who weren't able to publish for numerous days. Other long-time authors lost their ability to leave comments on people's stories. Legitimate authors who lost their ability to comment were locked out for a considerable time before they regained that ability. This is all because Vocal is trying to weed out 'authors' who are not legitimate. Comments are a means that Vocal learned to track these 'bad actors'. These scammers' A.I. generated comments have certain 'red flags' that indicate they weren't made by humans. The same happened with certain stories-- initially they were flagged as *possibly* being part of this problem. Vocal continues to adjust and perfect their means of detecting these people and then eliminating them. In essence: you weren't targeted specifically. It's all part of a greater problem that is slowly being resolved. I even wrote a story myself a couple weeks ago, published in the Writer's Community, called, "A Story about Attackers Infiltrating Vocal". I also wrote a "Call to Arms" poem about this unprecedented situation. Vocal has been safe for years. It's only since the first of the year that A.I. targeted this site. You can also go to 'Resources and read stories by Justin if you want to know a little more. You aren't the first one to be unaware of what's going on and to be frustrated because this has happened to you. This is just an FYI. Don't be discouraged. All this is in the process of being corrected by Vocal. It's a huge problem with thousands of attacks from specific regions of the world, but Vocal has already made giant strides in protecting us/authors. I enjoyed your Acrostic too! I hope this information helped reassure you that it was nothing you did specifically that caused you these frustrations. Everyone I know who had similar problems-- those issues were corrected by Vocal relatively quick. โก๐Bill โก
Well darn thatโs weird. I thought I hadnโt seen your Monday huddle pieces but Iโve also been away too. Iโm sorry about your knee. Howโs it going?
Wait, what? Why on earth is that happening? I've never heard or seen of a disapproved story before. I wonder if it's picking up something in the text. I don't really know how Vocal's systems work, but sorry this has happened a couple times now. Maybe you could try contacting Vocal support. I was curious about your Monday Huddles, though I guessed you were busy (sorry about the knee; I hope it's better now. If not, then I hope very soon). I, for one, would love it if you continue the series, Marilyn. ๐
