Sunshine in a beautiful tea with you

Coffee black with a tiny bit of cream

you, my sunshine tea,

With cream and yellow light,

I think in a misplaced dream,

You lifted that black, sifted silk

And in your layered tone,

Poured it like honey into my boiled heart.

Did those ingredients stay warm in our bellies, in our hands, as we diced up some of the flowers

We planted long ago?

Dandelion tea in my cup, a bit of our sweet lemon bliss

Don’t you know I’ll never, ever forget?

I love you, I love you, I am in love you,

The tea cries as it is split on the side of our half built house.

The tea warns itself not to cry too much or too loud,

The coffee with milk is shining alone,

And it cannot reach it

No, no, no

It cannot ready itself to lose that self-sufficient milk dripped coffee and stand alone,

But it must, so maybe in a shared dream one night,

They will share sunshine in a beautiful tea together,

lemon-pie-shine.
