Drown
It’s about drowning
By Melissa IngoldsbyPublished 3 years ago • Updated 3 years ago • 1 min read

space fins, you dollop your heart paint, electric
On the top of my head
I love your tiny waves
Space and full of time
Drinking it in like oxygen
Like you’re all mine
In my waves, I feel like you are mine
In your waves, it’s like we’re on time
I’m lost without your painted eyes
I’m lost without your mermaid cries
I am dying without knowing your
Beating drums
I know you might be feeling quite lost and glum,
Inside your desert bath of waves on the moon lit space,
Drowning me inside that plane
I’m sorry that you could be lost like me,
One day I’ll find you, mermaid hair, dark and orange and chocolate,
In the new form of space, starry eyed in a bright blue sea.
