Song Of The Forest
A Nature Poem Prompted By A Friend

Introduction
This was inspired by this image from Julie Pacheco and when I shared it my friend Julie completed the statement with these words:
"And to listen to the music of mother nature β₯οΈ"
I know Thin Lizzy had a song called "Mama Nature Said" and it is an excellent song that opens with these words:
My Mama Nature said
"It's murder what you've done"
I sent you forth my brightest world
Now it's nearly gone
The Julia Roberts piece from "Nature Is Speaking is also pertinent.
For this, I have applied by personal Pantoum form

Beautiful, especially for me - because I love the forest and I love nature and when I was small, I used to climb the tree in our backyard and sit up there and read books and watch the insects climbing along the branches.
Gorgeous imagery! "The wind sways them, ballet dancers" was my favorite line for sure - immediately makes me imagine the wind making the trees dance.
Some lovely thoughts on nature.
Nature comes alive in your poem!
A poem for the ages due to the message. I resonate with the quote and will be sharing the video. Thanks for writing and sharing Mike!
What a beautiful poem. I have listened to nature and if you really listen some of your answers will be found.
Awww this was so wonderful! I loved your poem and what Julie said!
