A Dark Shadow Came Out Of The Night
An Apparition, Something Unknown
Had It Come To Extinguish Our Light
Its Presence Did Chill Us To The Bone
⚫⚪⚫
Is This A Devil, Come To Harm Us
An Evil Menace Cloaked In Shadow
Surely We Are The Light, It Darkness
What Does It Want? That We Do Not Know
⚪⚫⚪
On This Dark Chessboard, Are We To Fight?
The Creature Hiding Its Face From Us
We Are Standing On The Side Of Right
And We Will Shun The Shadow's Darkness
⚫⚪⚫
We Lit Our Lanterns, Then It Took Flight
The Shade Disappeared Into The Night
